    Default Dropdown Attributes

I've followed the instruccions here but I get radio buttons instead of the dropdown menus. I already deleted all attributes and started all over again and I still get the same radio buttons.

    Version: 1.3.5

    Thank you.

Never mind, I figure this out looking really closely to the following from Ajeh
    Oba-san:

A radio button when on the screen is the white circle with the black dot when selected.

A dropdown is a list of options with the arrow on the right to select from the list.

A checkbox is a square box that you can check/uncheck

When a dropdown is the Product Option Name Type ... but there is only 1 choice ... it switches from a dropdown to a selected radio button ... the white circle will have a black center as there is no other choice.

But, if you add another Option Value to this Option Name, then it will go back to being the dropdown as there is now a choice for the customer to make.

The Green/Red/Yellow/etc. colors are just flags or indicators of various settings such as Status being on/off or warnings, cautions or good indicators.

Like if you set a download filename and spell it wrong, you will see a red icon (red circle) next to the name ... if you spell the name right, then the green icon will be next to the name.

    Thank you very much.

Does someone know if there's a way to have only 1 choice without radio button, just the text?

I figured it out. Just changed the attribute type to read-only. Works for my purpose.

Actually this was also a great way to get more additional fields to my product info...

Yes, I figured that out. in my case that attribute is not important to be added to order. It is only used as information for customer, In this case products material. I could have put that information in product description, but as a attribute it's placed where I (and site owner) want it to be.

    Default Attributes problem

Okay..I have tried a million combinations here, but I can not get the attributes to show as a dropdown. I have these attributes selected to have dropdowns, but they are only showing as radios.

My other problem is that they are all showing as checked, even though I have only one attribute selected as the default.

    Any help would be appreciated.
