No emails being received by Customers

Need some help from this wonderful community ..
My customers aren't receiving any emails at all .. be it Welcome email or Order Confirmation .. I even checked the 'Bulk/Spam' folders in a couple test accounts .. couldn't find there as well
However, I have been receiving Order Confirmation emails to my admin email ID whenever an order is placed ..
I checked the E-mail options in admin panel and 'Send Emails' is set to 'true'
..
The email transport method is set to PHP and mine is a linux host using Apache server ..
Not sure whats going wrong or where to start debugging ..

I also am having the same problems after I moved my zencart from a folder on my server to the root directory. Anyone have an answer or some helpful hints. Or even the creater of the post have you found anything that might be helpful?

You don't mention whether this is a 'hosted' linux server, or your own server running at home or at a work/business site. This can make a considerable difference.

On the settings side, 'send from known domain' is always a good bet.
