Recover Cart [Support Thread]

I'm getting the same problem. Worked find on mt 1.3.2 zencart. Did a fresh install of 1.3.7 for Paypal Express support, and now Recover cart sales no longer works. I check the customers I would like to inform as before and hit the send button, but rather than taking me o the second page it used to take me to displaying the customers and their products with an email sent bar at the top of the screen, the recover cart sales initial page just refreshes on itself showing all customers that abandoned their carts and all check boxes unchecked again. No email is sent at all. Have tried changing the zencart mail transport method from sendmail, to php, to smtp and still the same issue, no error message, just seems that the script fails.

Anyone any ideas? anyone got this running on 1.3.7 so I can rule out conflicts with another script?

After reading every post I can find, I have figured out that this is a register global problem. Since I do not have the ability to turn them on via .htaccess file, I was wondering if there was a link anywhere to download a_berezin's mod.

I have searched every link posted to it I could find, but they're all dead. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

That is the same one that is in the download section and not Andrew's version that was working. I tried this one already and had no luck with it.

Sorry this is probably a newby problem.

Recover cart seems to work perfectly except for the mails sent to the customer.

Instead of the mail text the mails show:

Inquiry from Israel Store


$EMAIL_MESSAGE_HTML


I also would like to change the mail to include a link paypal. Does anyone know how.

I am a comlete idiot when it comes to php.

hmm, found a copy on my hard drive called recovercart.zip it doesnt have any install notes or instructuons in the zip. was wondering if this might be the one that we need that works.
Was downloaded back in march 2007.....

If its not right let me know, so that no one else gets their hopes up

Looks like this was one that was last modified by Andrew. I'll give it a shot today and report back.
