Stocks by attributes

would there be a way to seperate products displayed by catagory? this would make things super quick and easy. also would it be possible to see the products without attributes also so you could update all stock levels without having to jump around in your admin.

ok "ctrl + F" works just find for searching and backbutton works great from adding new products.

I just installed this mod. and everything works fine, except if when a customer is signed in, and then revisits the shopping cart the shipping calculator does not display and I get this error.

Any idea what needs to be changed?

Ok, installed. To test contrib, I try to set size options and apply size attribute to an article. I set quantity in stock... Well! It work!



But it's very strange that PWA_DELETE_VARIANT doesn't work. I clik on it, I click yes to confirm, I've not any error message but variant is already present.

Actually it's not working. That you are seeing "PWA_DELETE_VARIANT" shows that you have an incomplete installation, otherwise you would be seeing the text to which that constant refers. I recommend checking that each individual file is in the same position as it is in the installation package, or re-installing and ensuring that they all end up in the right place.

I've another question: I set variant and stock. Is it a problem or is it VERY dangerous to remove a relative Option Value (look the picture) for example "Taglia 26", from attribute applied to an article (Admin-->catalogue-->Attributes Controller) ?

I would recommend removing the stock values before removing the variant - that should be safe. I haven't tried it the other way around, so don't know what effect it might have.

I'm using 3.71 and Stock by Attributes 4.6

I am using two sets of values - size and colour - and using radio buttons for each.

So far - I've got a test product set with stock numbers for each combination. These numbers stand the test in the shopping cart - ie ordering too many will give error message to cart owner, along with actual number of stock available; ordering zero will give an 'out of stock' error message, and not selecting an attribute from each attribute will give a ' you must select colour (and/or size, as the case may be) error message.

I see on wiki page info about showing stock on product page when a single attribute is used.

Is there a way to show stock available on product page when two attributes are used?

Not built into the module. You would need to query the database and write your own display routines to suit your specific situation.

Yes, but there are no plans to do so for the reasons explained earlier in this thread. However, I'm confident that this will be less of an issue when the feature is absorbed into core code in Zen Cart 1.4.

To start answering this question, please advise as to which version of Zen Cart you are using, which version of Stock by Attributes, what other mods you have installed and the full error message.

I am using 1.3.7, latest version of Stock by Attribute and I have several mod. installed but no other modules that used this file.

Two issues here. The latest version of Stock by Attribute isn't intended to be used with version 1.3.7 of Zen Cart. Secondly, I suspect that you may have left a backup of your old orders.php in your classes folder which is why it's trying to declare it twice.

Actually it's not working.

the two id are correct but dont't work.

Installation it's ok. You see PWA_DELETE_VARIANT because there isn't italian language.
