You have two options:

1. The first Option:
2. admin panel/ configuration/ layout setting/ left column
3. you have 210
4. change to 185 or 190
5. there are two places to change on this

1. The second option:
2. #mainWrapper {stylesheet.css (line 187)background-color:#FFFFFF;
   text-align:left;
   vertical-align:top;
   width:750px;
   }
   
3. Change the red font above to 800

I would choose Option 1....
