How do EZ-Pages work?

You could always make the header, footer and sideboxes in dreamweaver, but make them identical to the ones in zencart. That would work if you were not going to update your zen cart menu that often, or if the changes were CSS.

Would you have to do this manually or is there a way of getting dreamweaver to read the php from zen cart and generate the html that way?

I have heard of people connecting to there shop with dreamweaver but I couldn't tell you how. If you are asking me it you have to change page2, manually yes you do. You also need to put it in your override folder. I know it a pain but this is the only for now.

I am having problem with listing EZ Pages on my Footer. I have them working fine and displaying in the footer. However, the problem is that the links dispplay straight across the page (see link to my site). I would like them to wrap around in the footer instead of one line across.

I placed <br> in the title of a couple of ez pages to get this effect. But, it was causing validation errors.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Up until now I've been able to solve my ZC problems by searching the forum, but this time I give up. I'm tired. Just tired.

Two EZ Pages problems.

First, I had changed the box heading to "Pages of Interest" (that's all I could think of right then) and it showed up as that in the sidebox. That was several days ago. I can't remember what I've done since then - I know I deleted the EZ page I'd created, or tried to create. Left it alone for a few days and tried again today, but the box heading does not show Pages of Interest. Instead, it shows BOX_HEADING_TITLE. What in the world did I unknowingly change???

Second............

I've created a test EZ Page called Test. It shows up in the sidebox. It's clickable, but opens up a blank page. A page that should have the words, "Testing 1-2-3". I put those words in the html area. Nothing in the internal or external links boxes.

You will be better off to upload the original file ez_pages_definitions.php, and then follow these instructions. Hope this helps.

Shoot. I used Fantastico, so don't have a copy of the file. Typical of me, since all I had to do was change a couple of words, I didn't make a copy of the file. I mean, really! There was nothing to it! I knew what it was supposed to look like. Sigh. I will, certainly, if that's the only way, but I'd rather not have to download the whole program for that itty bitty file. I truly appreciate the suggestion, but do we have another?
