I would like to use this Module, but could you tell me what this means from the HTACCESS File.

Would this mean change RewriteBase to zen cart or to my Root name

The RewriteBase is the folder where Zen is installed. In your case, Zen is in the root folder so you would enter /

So I would not put anything. I would need to remove were it says
RewriteBase /zencart/ to RewriteBase /.
One question, how would I turn on mod_rewrite on the APACHE server. Thank you again.

The line shoud read:

RewriteBase /zencart/

I seem to have this Module working great, but I have a problem. I have the CAPTCHA using TTF & GD & Telephone Not Required on Signup Module installed and It was working up until I installed simple seo. Any idea what could be causing the Captcha Module not to work anymore. Thank you.

I noticed in a much earlier post that someone mentioned a problem with Set Link Alias Status. I have set this to true but see no additional settings in Admin->Extras->Simple SEO URL Manager. All I can do is reset the cache. Am I missing something?

So is the only insurmountable problem with this mod that you can't accept paypal?

Has anybody used this with google base feeder or google checkout or checkout without account successfully?

I may be willing to forego paypal for this mod.

I'm using ZC 1.3.8a. I made sure that the SEO would work with this version before installing. I followed the upload instruction to the letter - even skipped step 2 per readme.

I uploaded .htaccess to root with the rewriteBase /shop-lela/ which is the directory where the catalog resides.

i got errors to the ying-yang. Then I remembered that I had a similar .haccess file for an old client running a zc v1.3.5xxxx or something. It got the product page working just fine, thank you.

Now for the login, my account, info pages., I get:
Page Not Found

Custom 404 Error Page with Site Map Sample Text ...
Put your custom "page not found" message here. You can change this text in the Define Pages Editor located under Tools in the Admin.

followed by the site map, of course.

I have attached the .htacces based on old version in file oldHtaccess.txt

Someone mentioned a patch, but the explanation lost me completely.

Your htaccess file appears to be modified for Ultimate SEO, not Simple SEO. Sorry for the obvious question, did you install Simple or Ultimate SEO?
