Contact Us Form

A beginner here.
I have looked at Define Pages and EZ Pages but can't seem to figure if there is a "pre made" Contact Us form or if I have to make it. I read in this forum that I needed to move the tpl_contact_us_default.php
file into my template file and did that but still do NOT see a contact us form.

There is a built-in Contact Us form. If you click the "contact us" link in the footer of your site, you'll see the contact us page.

To customize the text that's shown on that page, look in includes/languages/english/html_includes for contact_us.php. Copy that file into includes/languages/english/html_includes/YOUR_TEMPLATE and do your editing.

Is there a way I can turn off the form but keep the Contact us page? I'm getting a whole bunch of spam and would like to remove the form fields completely.

and add anti spam contact form as per

How do you add the anti spam form actually? Also in the contact form how would you be able to have a drop down menu for the reason for contacting us: Say a list to schoose from would be Products, Sales, etc.?

That is my own creation.. dont require drop down menu for contacting...if you need that option, then install Captcha

Really do not want to sound stupid but how do you install Captcha? New to this so still trying to figure it out and how to stop spammers from the start.

Get the add on from the Free Software Add Ons tab above.
Follow the install instructions.

Downloaded the one for bots and the ttf download. Will work on this in a couple of hours. Thanks and sure will be back if an issue.
