    Default USPS Module

    I have been using Zencart for a very long time, still amazes me how easy this is to use.

    I have a question about the USPS module. I haven't updated it - EVER.

    Do I need to?

    I have been getting orders that the shipping rate is off, and thought that the USPS module did that automatically.

    Is this true?

    When enabling/configuring the USPS shipping module, you have the option (as admin) to make either offline or online.

    Did you configure it to be online?

    True


    That's what is set.... is that what your referring to?

    Sorry, my mistake. I mistakenly thought that with USPS shipping you have the option of calculating cost offline. This is not the case, in the USPS Shipping module. In fact, if you don't specify a USPS userid when installing/configuring that module, you will get a warning.

    Perhaps you need the bugfix, as the other poster pointed out.

    But that post says international orders... mine is within the United States. Still use that fix?

    Yes!
    When you set it up in admin you can choose not to use international.
