    Default Marquee Tag

    Hi all

I would like to add scrolling text to the middle of my main page. Did some research & found some HTML code, but have no idea which CSS page to add to, and then where within the page to place it.

    Many thanks!

As the posts above indicate, this is a relatively simple task of adding the <marquee> html tags to one of your defined pages (such as define_main_page.php - and as you know, these pages are edited under ADMIN>>>TOOLS>>>DEFINE PAGES EDITOR).

All you do is call up the page where you want the scroller to appear, toggle the wysiwyg editor to HTML mode (the <> menu symbol), and enter the html required to get the scroller to work.

Search google for "marquee html" to see how it is formatted.

Thanks fairestcape for your reply but I wanted to add the marquee script in the tpl_header.php which I couldn't find in the ADMIN>>>TOOLS>>>DEFINE PAGES EDITOR how can I add it to the list there and how to add the script to the tpl_header.php page to show the marquee exactly under the logo ? any instructions on that ?
