Paypal "item Name" Problem in paypal reports

If you want detailed line-item invoices in PayPal, then turn off the Website Payments Standard(IPN) module, and enable Express Checkout.

i have both running for both types of customers therefore dotn wnat to take IPN out

i rang my host jsweb they said i can use it under the new 1.38 upgrade?

also in my emails that are payment notifications i cannot see what they have purcahsed all i see is "smartbuyer uk purchase" and not the actual item name

Exactly as I said earlier ...
The Standard/IPN module treats the order as a payment receipt, not as a detailed per-item order invoice. The invoice is at your store for them to reference if needed.
If you want it to show detailed line-item listings of all products in the purchase, use Express Checkout instead.

i am aware of the fact that i can see the item name in the store

but at the end of each month i have to make monthly financial summary of all items sold. sometimes in the 1000s , therefore i need this information for stock take, to be posted into my paypal account for the reports.
even expresss checkout user's item names do not show up in the paypal reports.

I'm not sure what reports you're referring to. If you're referring to inventory reports for products you sell from ebay or your PayPal store, I'm sorry, but that information comes from PayPal's database, not from Zen Cart.

Your customer receipts for Express Checkout purchases will show individual products (as long as there are no discounts applied to the order).

if the price of each item price , name and address can be displayed through paypal am sure the item name can be too.. its a matter of posting this information which can be seen in teh paypal paymetn from my store but this is not posted to paypal and its correct field.

the reports dont show the item name and even simple account inventory do not also show it in paypal.

Well ... the NAME is set to the product's name, the NUMBER is set to the product's Model Number, the QTY is set to the quantity of that item being ordered.
I'm not sure how else you want the information to be submitted ... when it's all being submitted exactly as PayPal's API documentation specifies.

i have ran both types of payments express and IPN individually and received paymtens from both individually and still it does not display the item
