Default Text Attribute Disapears if other attributes are not Selected

    Hello,

    I have 3 attributes,

    1: TEXT
    2. Drop Down
    3. Drop Down

I put required on the drop downs, and on the TEXT, but what happens is, if you don't select any of the drop downs and get the "YELLOW error message", the TEXT Attribute simply disappears, gone...

How can I fix it so it doesn't disappear so they can fill that out to while they are going to select the rest they were suppose to?

I have this same issue with 1.3.9d. Has anyone else experienced this?

I cannot repeat this in v1.3.9d nor in v1.3.9f ...

What this a clean install or an upgrade?

If an upgrade, what version did you upgrade from?

What happens if you switch to the Classic Template?

If using SEO/rewrites ... what happens if you turn them off?

    Interesting...

I am having this issue too.

Try adding THIS PRODUCT to the cart, without selecting an attribute. When you are returned with the message alert, the text input boxes disappear. The LABELS are still there - just no input fields

I have tried all the usual diagnoses (changing template, checking PHP versions, database via phpMyAdmin), but can't seem to nail it down. Despite changing template back to classic, the problem persists.

    Any ideas?

It appears it was a database issue. When I run the following patch:

    Code:
    INSERT INTO `configuration` VALUES ('', 'Text prefix', 'TEXT_PREFIX', 'txt_', 'Prefix used to differentiate between text option values and other option values', 0, NULL, '2007-03-19 17:57:39', '2007-03-19 17:57:39', NULL, NULL);
    The thing works again...
