Downloadable products not being received

Hi there,

I've created a store for a client at http://www.jadeleonard.com/store, selling her music in mp3 format.

My client has been testing purchasing products from there today, and I have found that I get the order confirmation (so does the purchaser), but then the purchaser isn't sent anything on how to download the song/product.

In Admin >> Customer >> Orders, the orders are still set as "pending". The other issue that comes up is that because the client hasn't put in a shipping address when they joined, it comes up with the error "billing and shipping address do not match". Could this be causing the issue?

Any help is appreciated.

In the admin - configuration section check out the settings for Attributes Settings.

While the order status is pending the download will not be available (based on the settings mentioned above). Set the order status to delivered and then check - the download should be availabe for the customer.

That makes sense, however would you happen to know what would cause the order to be stuck on pending? I'd prefer orders to go through automatically rather than having to go into the admin and accept them manually each time.

I've found the problem - it wasn't in the attributes settings you mentioned, it was actually under "admin >> modules >> payment", where I had to change the order payment status from pending to delivered.

hI. i AM PULLING MY HAIR OUT AGAIN....

I am also having this problem. no DOWNLOAD BUTTON..
I have "enabled downloads " true.
i have checked the downloads manager and all files are uploaded. so that's OK
i have linked the "media collection" that's working for audio samples.

i purchased with a GV.. which reduced when a purchase was made.
what have I missed...

this cart is in it,s early stages. so i am just trying to understand zencart 3.8 's workings.

any help is appreciated.

Can you explain HOW you fixed this issue? Maybe it could help me with a similar problem...
