I have to do some googling regarding javascript slideshow.

Have this fitted and working but code cannot validate for xhtml because of marquee tages, those tags are depricated.

Anyone found a work around for this?

Thanks- will have to try as I dont think It's possible to change this one as even the demo site shows 543 Errors, 56 warning(s).

Do I completely unistall the first one and just fit this new mod do you know? Kinda new to zen and this will be the first mod I have to remove etc.

You should be able to just install the new mod since it will overwrite the existing sidebox files.

Make sure you have more than one featured product selected in
admin -> maximum values -> Random Featured Products for SideBox

Would it be possible to randomize which image the scrolling sidebox starts on just like the normal box does, because at the moment the box restarts on the same product upon every page refresh.

This means quite often not all my specials get shown as the customer moves to a different page before all the products are shown.

Another possibility I was thinking about was the box pausing between pages and then continuing from where it was, rather than starting all over again...if you understand what I mean!!
