Re: Module Manager.
This is my very first post, so I hope I am doing this right. My Zen Cart has just recently been installed. Apparently I have the latest version of ZC - including the new security addition from last week. The only module we have attempted to add so far is the "Admin Profiles" and we are having very major difficulties that are still not resolved. We may choose to totally reload our data base (since it is relatively new and not fully populated yet anyway). Myself (who is brand new to the web site creation world) and a very competent but very, very part-time webmaster are handling this site.
I have reviewed the latest posts on Module Manger, but can't seem to find a definitive answer to this basic question: Can anyone authoritatively say whether this module (Module Manager) is currently (given having the most current updated version of ZC AND the new security addition) a fully working and useful module to add up front here as a tool to assist us in our adding and managing the rest of the add-on modules that we anticipate adding?
Thank your for any assistance or recommendations.

I never could get this mod to work as many others. Found best to follow mod's installation instructions for better success.
I had the same problem as post #41 had with the ysell error. Seems to be an incompatibility with older versions of zencart. 1.3.7 failed but after upgrading to 1.3.8a everything worked fine.
The installation.txt file contained in module_manager_rev16zip.zip saysFollowing these instructions have not worked for me. I uploaded all 22 files and folders in the zip file including the complete subdirectory structure to my root zencart directory. I then went to the zencart admin console, hovered over the tools tab and did not find anything called "module manager" to click on. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!INSTALLATION:
Upload all files and folders to the correspnding locations. This module automatically installs itself, no need to run any sqlpatch
USUAGE:
1. admin->tools->module manager
View all installed modules, perform update and new installation
More features to be added later
NOTE: this module will attempt to install itself the first time you go to admin->tools->module manager
I see you asked this question in May and got no answer. It is now August and I have the same question. As you can see in my immediately prior post above. No, just dumping it into the site folder did not work for me. Also, I have found no documentation anywhere. I'm concerned that this thread seems pretty near dead. Is there anyone here that can answer this simplest of questions?
Make sure you just take the file structure inside the module_manager folder NOT the folder itself. It is just the admin and includes folder you have to grab. If you renamed your admin folder, you have to rename it too.
Make sure all files were uploaded. Just to make sure it can not hurt to reupload all files.
If all files upload correctly, it will show up in your Tools menu in admin.

I got the solution from the community here.
dito.
Guess this is what I was trying to say as well...
Let us know if it works now.

I have installed and uninstalled this mod numerous times following the installation instructions to the letter everytime. I have successfully installed other mods without any problems but when it came to this one I've simply gave up. All the files are correctly chmodded and in the right location but no prevail.
my message has always been been the same Warning: dir(/****/*****/******/numinix_version/) [function.dir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/abdmnn/public_html/store/*****/includes/classes/module_versions.php on line 34
