Clyde I was hoping you could answer this for me. I want to put up banners on my site. What size do the banners have to be with the rustic template? I need to know the sizes for the wide banners and the ones that go into the right and left columns.

The width for the sidebox banners should be no larger than 130px

The width for the wide banners should be no larger that 700px

I am trying to remove the whole tag line at the top of the page. I thought if i deleted:

define('HEADER_SALES_TEXT', 'TagLine Here<br />This text can be changed by<br />editing <code>includes/languages/english/rustic/header.php</code><br />To replace the logo, upload your logo.gif to <code>includes/templates/rustic/images/</code>'); 

in the header.php it would work, however it then shows this instead: HEADER_SALES_TEXT...any help?? thank you!

I sell one of a kind items. So when they are sold the Zen Cart deletes the item. This is a problem because they can not go back and write a review on the item. Is there any way to just mark the item as SOLD and leave it on the site?

check admin -> configuration -> stock -> Products status in Catalog when out of stock should be set to (set to 1)

I have been reading these pages and don't see my problem.

I installed the rustic template but for some reason my sidebars are not showing.

Please advise.

After installing and selecting the template did you:

go to admin -> tools -> layout boxes controller

scroll to the bottom of the page and click the reset button.

From the readme file that comes with the template:

INSTALLATION:

Unzip the Package and upload the entire includes folder to your server.

In your admin panel, go to admin -> tools -> template selection, click the edit button, choose the template from the dropdown menu and click update.

Now go to admin -> tools -> layout boxes controller, Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click the reset button.

Open your site in your browser and view the new template in action.
