Rustic Template Support Thread

Hi Clyde and everyone :)

I have been reading these pages and don't see my problem.

I installed the rustic template but for some reason my sidebars are not showing.

Please advise.

After installing and selecting the template did you:

go to admin -> tools -> layout boxes controller

scroll to the bottom of the page and click the reset button.

From the readme file that comes with the template:

INSTALLATION:

Unzip the Package and upload the entire includes folder to your server.

In your admin panel, go to admin -> tools -> template selection, click the edit button, choose the template from the dropdown menu and click update.

Now go to admin -> tools -> layout boxes controller, Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click the reset button.

Open your site in your browser and view the new template in action.

Darn don't I feel like a dork hee hee. I totally didn't see that when I read the read me file.

Hi Clyde I have a problem. I have the template installed but when you look at my web site for a while the top separates or drops down. It does it in IE also. I don't know what is causing it. It did it before I change anything. If you don't mind take a look at it for me here I have the cherry template installed but I wanted another one so I can change the look now and then. Thank You. It only happens when you scroll down at the bottom and then back to the top. OK when you click the search box then scroll down.

I bet you have IH2 installed and forgot to put the "jscript" files and the ih stylesheet in includes/templates/rustic/jcript/ and includes/templates/rustic/css.

You are right and that seem to fix it. Thank You clyde. I have 7 W3C validation errors to fix now some how.

I think those are being caused by the minify script your are using.
