How to remove things in Header

I don't need the bits in ZC that refer to Specials, New Products, New products for October, etc. that appear around the page. Can Someone tell me hoew to remove them

Don't see this has to do with the header??

For the center
admin > config > index listing > make ones you do not want "0"

Side boxes
admin > tools > layout box controller > disable one not wanted

Thanks for the advice on the layout boxes and the index listing.

I have just switched back to the classic green template and see that the header stuff was in the template I was using. I can see where to change the words but can't see how to delete the link there altogether.

Plus there is still a reference to New Products in the Categories side box that I would like to remove.

I have another question.....in the product listing I have options. Is there any way to get the "add to cart" box to appear after the options?

It makes more sense to me that people go down through th options and arrive at the add to cart button below.

Due to options, the cart does not know what to add and why one has to go to the product details page

If you mean the product info page, that kind of thing is usually done by moving blocks of code around in the proper template file, in this case tpl_product_info_display.php.

The idea is to find the element you want to move, cut all the relevant code and paste it somewhere else. In this case, you'll find the code between <!--bof Add to Cart Box --> and <!--eof Add to Cart Box -->, Cut it, and Paste it where you want it relative to the other elements, which have their own bof and eof comments.

Often a certain amount of trial and error is necessary.
