I've changed my Admin/Configuration/Customer Details/Customer Approval Status - Authorization Pending setting to 3= Customer May Browse and May see Prices but Must be Authorized to Buy. Guests (those not logged in) now see a text string, "Login to Shop" instead of the "Add to Cart" button or quantity select box (which is the behavior I want). But how do I replace that text string with a button?

I'm not sure this is template related.

try switching back to the classic template and see if you encounter the same problem.

befor i don`t type http:// befor in manufacturer url . after type this , link worked

Is this template PCI Compliant? We just had a bad experience with a purchased template making the site fail Security Metrics PCI Compliance testing.

It should be, it uses The same files that come with the default Zen Cart installation.

Edited changes are mainly changes in the language file definitions.
