USPS and UPS shipping module update

There are some situations where that does need to be changed to 2 even though USPS is suppose to take 5 digits ...

It is odd, as what the US shipping will take for 5 digits, the International shipping sometimes will not take the same 5 digits ...

If this is a problem for you, change that to 2 ...

I'm having an international shipping issue - no matter what options are selected in the admin (first class letters, parcels, priority, etc), the shipping is always calculated at no less than $20.

Any ideas?

I've gone through them all trying to 'fix' the problem:
priority mail international
first class mail intl package
first class mail intl letters
first class mail intl parcels
first clas mail intl flats

I've tested a combination or one or many of the above and still get a shipping estimate of $20.

Are you actually seeing USPS and all of the choices?

What version Zen Cart?

Clean install or an Upgrade?

If you do a search with the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... in the bottom input box for:
usps.php

what comes up for the version id on the:
/includes/modules/shipping/usps.php

What are your settings in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ...

What exactly is the weight that you are testing?

Are you actually seeing USPS and all of the choices?

neither. I haven't done anything to either zencart of the usps module for quite some time. i don't know how long this has been a problem.

display order comments on admin packing slip: 1

What exactly is the weight that you are testing?
I've tested a variety of different weights

I believe you are using out dated code ...

Make sure you have applied all of the Security Patches and Updates:

I have read the FAQs and followed the instructions but my USPS shipping will not work.. I am running on 1.3.9d so it sounds like it is not a problem. My USPS account is active but nothing comes up in the menu. In the shipping setup menu the icon is yellow not green so not sure what parameter I am missing to not connect. HELP!!!!! I want to use the flat rate boxes.

Module working now. But flat rate boxes are not an option it looks like for domestic. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
