My Coupons Not Working

I'm having the same problem. Coupon shows that it was accepted, shows as a deduction, but doesn't actually deduct from the end total.

I'm using the newest version of Zen cart.

I'm out of answers. I've looked through all of the threads and can't find the problem. Try using "grandop" for the discount coupon and you'll see that it shows it is taking the coupon, but doesn't deduct it from the order total.

I have no idea how to fix this. I do not have free shipping turned on for the coupon.

I create an order and add the coupon on checkout and see the discount and all adds up ...

Ok, that's weird. So I'm in WA and had set up my own account with a WA address to test the shopping cart. So of course it's calculating tax for me.

After I saw your post that it was working, I test it using a different state address so that it wouldn't calculate tax.

So now it obviously has something to do with tax being charged and the coupon.

Any ideas how I fix this?

I figured it out. It was my sort order in order total module. I thought the coupon needed to come before tax, but once I moved it below tax, it worked. Thanks for your help!!

I am having the same problem. I decided to change my sort total and put the discount coupon and the Group Discount Coupon below the tax and now I'm getting this error message: Warning: Division by zero in /home/www/kidsfabrics/includes/modules/order_total/ot_coupon.php on line 281

Please help. I tried to fix this issue because my webtech guy could not look into this before Mon. and I have many unsatisfied customers who are not able to use their coupon and now what have I done?

I have an issue with the discount coupons module.

See attached, the coupon should be for €20 - but it's deducting€24.20

What are your settings on the Discount Coupon? :unsure:

You have to put the % sign after if you want a percentage discount

I am having this same problem with my coupon not working after setting restrictions. I have the coupon set to deduct 5.99 from the amount if a minimum of 9.98 is spent and the certain product is in the cart. The coupon is valid, I made the Top Deny, and allow the item that needs to be in the cart. I do not have shipping so my free shipping is not checked.
