Add Customers from admin addon

Did anyone answer you on this? I am having the same problem, running v1.3.9h - any help would be great. This may be an old mod and not compatible? Any suggestions or workarounds? Thanks in advance.

**Does anyone know if there will be a version of this that's compatible with Zen Cart 1.5.0 ?
We have recently upgraded and this module no longer works.

If not, does anyone know if a substitute to be able to register users using a different method?**

One of the issues with this mod is that it needs a "refresh" ... the csv import is rather "sucky" ... sorry! It limps along and works, but is not very user friendly. A number of other issues that I corrected myself (long ago) and don't much remember what I did. If I wasn't buried in my release of EP4, I would put some time into this. We'll see.

MY question (DivaVocals, you may know the answer!) ... has anyone had trouble with the temporary passwords not working that are being sent when you upload customers via csv or enter them and send the welcome letter? I've tested this at least a couple dozen times myself, but still get people saying they cannot log in with their temporary password.

Perhaps it's just an ID.10T error?

Okay FOUND IT!!!.. Here's the issue with Add Customers From Admin that I reported previously..

Here's the summary of the issue:

I noticed that regardless of which version of Edit Orders I use (the modified one that comes with this module or the latest version) the customer's street address comes through on the order without the state information. Very curious as I cannot see what in the code would cause this behavior..

Edited to Add: I see now the difference.. Customers who sign-up for an account in the store have a value in entry_zone_id but not in entry_state in the addressbook tables. While customers added using the Add Customer add-on will have an entry in entry_state but not in entry_zone_id.

Bottomline customer records created using this module do not populate the same database columns in the addressbook table..

I fixed this issue on my install...I'll go back and take a look at what I did (and compare to the original file as I modded mine to suit my needs). I'll share once I can replicate on a clean version.

Doesn't this thing work for Canada? Seems they are not in the "state" functions. I have a 150 Canadian customers to add.... where's my axe? I need to go chop on this code.

I've not tried with Canada.. but I'll bet the issue I pointed out WILL TOTALLY present a problem with Canada..

Anyone mentioned 1.5 in this thread? A thread search didn't turn it up. Wanting to make sure this sucker does not to be upgraded for 1.5 as I'm about to upgrade someone who wants to keep it.

Works perfectly now!

This makes the mod work in ZC150. But as we know...making it work is only half the equation.

Is it also secure and PCI compliant?
