jScroller Sidebox Package Support Thread

I have made sure all folders are correctly named and the correct files exist in those folders, stil doesn't function. I have gone through the list of other mods I have installed and can only come up with one that I installed that might make a difference, CEONs URI SEO.

The scroller still works on my test server but I didn't install CEONs mod - very involved installation and not willing to break my test site.

Guess I will keep on looking for other possibilities.

I don't believe the SEO Mod would delete/remove the scroller div portion of the sidebox.

As I pointed out in my previous post that is what appears to be missing in the what's new sidebox.

open includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/sideboxes/tpl_whats_new.php

and make sure this line of code is present

	$content .= '<div class="scroller_container"><div class="jscroller2_up jscroller2_speed-20 jscroller2_mousemove">' . $wn .'</div></div>';

Well here is a new look at this issue...

I installed the full package onto my test server and the only box that does not scroll is the what's new box, all others scroll properly. I looked at the source file and the whats new box is the only one missing jscroller div text.

The following is what the source is on my test server...

Nevermind, I found the solution... I had the max value for Random New Products for SideBox set to 1, I changed it to 3 and all is fine. Talk about feeling stupid!!:blush::censored:

It is probably in one of the several css stylesheets

Since none of your stylesheets conform to standard Zen Cart stylesheets, I'm afraid I wouldn't know in which one.

Could you tell me how to switch 1 or all of the boxes off please? I installed your file and it looked great, but as I have installed more products/made sales I have found all the scrolling a bit distracting?

I dont want to touch anything if it might break!

select the boxes you wish and turn them off

The scrolling script does not appear to be loading.

make sure you have uploaded the jscript folder and its contents from the contribution to you custom template folder

includes.templates/classic/jscript/jscript_scroller.php

Hi Clyde,

I couldn't find it cause it never had the jscroller2_mousemove section. I checked all the files and they were all the same. I have it all working fine now and it stops when hovered over.

My initial issue was a very simple mistake on my part.. I only had 1 item displayed in the sidebox :censored: :oops:

I am yet to upload the best sellers sidebox and you will see that it does not stop scrolling when you hover over it. I have fixed the other 3 files.
