sold out sm button position

Just one more question about this sold out image, I promise :)

Is it possible to somehow make the image clickable with the URL of the image it's overlying? Or put another way, is it possible for the sold out image to be visible as it is now, but z-indexed or transparent in a way that allows you to click the product image behind it?

Re: sold out sm button position

Try one modification at a time and test thoroughly before trying the next...

\includes\templates\custom\templates\tpl_modules_products_all_listing.php

    $soldoutimage = ($products_all->fields['products_quantity'] > 0) ? '' : '<div class="sold_out_on_image"><a href="'
     .zen_href_link(zen_get_info_page($products_all->fields['products_id']), 'cPath=' . zen_get_generated_category_path_rev($products_all->fields['master_categories_id']) . '&products_id=' . $products_all->fields['products_id']). '"><img src="http://www.dystynction.com/includes/templates/freetemplate2/images/button_sold_out_sm_mine.gif"></a></div>';

\includes\templates\custom\templates\tpl_modules_products_new_listing.php

    $soldoutimage = ($products_new->fields['products_quantity'] > 0) ? '' : '<div class="sold_out_on_image"><a href="'
     . zen_href_link(zen_get_info_page($products_new->fields['products_id']), 'cPath=' . zen_get_generated_category_path_rev($products_new->fields['master_categories_id']) . '&products_id=' . $products_new->fields['products_id']) .  '"><img src="http://www.dystynction.com/includes/templates/freetemplate2/images/button_sold_out_sm_mine.gif"></a></div>';

Re: sold out sm button position

Steve, are you human or droid?!?! You never cease to amaze me, I just don't know how you could come up with something like the above and get it 100% pixel perfect yet again?!?!

I'm racking my brains now, trying to come up with a problem for you, just to see you at work, not because I need it.

I keep using this word for you , amazing!!

Do you make a living from web design then?

Re: sold out sm button position

Hi Steve,

I hope they're paying you well for working Sundays! Do you at least work in some sort of programming or is this just purely a hobby?

Thanks for the compliments on my site, coming from you that means a lot. I'm a complete amateur so you can imagine the learning curve I've gone through building this site from scratch. It's been fun though and I can see why you find it so interesting and challenging :-)

Is there a way to place this on the sidebox under "New Products" ?
