SitemapXML v.2

BlessIsaacola:

You might want to check with numinix to see if there is an update to the add-on module to makes sitemapxml compatible with Magic SEO.

The problem is already solved. I have a version that supports the Magic SEO.

Thanks Andrew for the update! Is the version that supports MSU available for download or is still in testing?

Not now. May be later - I am now thinking about marketing policy.

Not OK. That link throws error.
Site map should be sitemapindex.xml, not ezpages.
How to submit?
You either use Sitemap XML under Admin --> Tools or a cron job.

Re: SitemapXML v.2

I checked the first couple pages and last couple pages but didn't see an answer.

I followed the instructions but it appears my XML files are blank. I did change permissions to 777.

I believe it should be generating the file to this location:
http://turbofabsupply.com/cart/sitemapindex.xml

Version:
Zen-Cart 1.3.8a

Plugins:
Ultimate SEO Urls
Google Base Feeder
Google Analytics

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: SitemapXML v.2

TurboFabSupply,
You will incorrect install the module, or you have an error in one of the modules sitemapXML (includes/modules/pages/sitemapxml).
You can debug yourself temporarily adding file includes/local/configure.php:

define('STRICT_ERROR_REPORTING', true);
Or use Debug Error Logging Utility

Re: SitemapXML v.2

New issue for me....

I have checked and double checked this and my sitemaps are all set at a minimum of weekly....however I'm getting this from Google.

"All the URLs in your Sitemap are marked as having dynamic content.
All the URLs in your Sitemap are marked as having dynamic content (the value of is "always"). Because dynamic content is difficult for search engines to crawl and index, this may impact your site's performance in search results. Check your Sitemap to make sure your site information is correct."

Am I missing something?

Re: SitemapXML v.2

Oriontool:

Hello,

I have installed the module and I thought everything went correctly, but apparently not.

Google Webmaster Tools reports the following error:

Unsupported file format
Your Sitemap does not appear to be in a supported format. Please ensure it meets our Sitemap guidelines and resubmit.

My site is http://www.earphoneguy.com and the site map (which looks weird) is at http://www.earphoneguy.com//index.php?main_page=sitemapxml

My Zen-Cart version is 1.3.8a.

Any suggestions on how to correct this or what I did wrong? I have only been using Zen-Cart for less than a week.

Thanks!
Did you ever get an answer to your question?

Re: SitemapXML v.2

I have read all the pages and it looks that only one have the strange problem:
Most of the pages are in the sitemap products (categories also) with priority value in range 1.0 - 0.1 but some of them are with strange priority values "0**,1" while other with normal "0.**1" (comma instead of point"

This makes Google to produce warnings in webmaster tools

feel free to look:
http://gps-centar.com/sitemapcategories.xml
or:
http://gps-centar.com/sitemapproducts.xml

any ideas?
version is:
v 2.1.0 30.04.2009 10:35

With best regards

Danijel
