SitemapXML v.2

Yes that is correct, to be honest we don't have allot of plugins installed and never noticed any thing with Zencart that did not work but your plugin made us pick-up an issue with our config which is good ;-)

Cheers!

Re: SitemapXML v.2

The script (install-sitemapxml_only_for_zen-cart-1_5_0.sql) does not show up in the tool section of the zen cart admin page. I've unzipped the downloaded file, renamed admin to match my renamed admin and FTP'd the contents of the SitemapXML folder (not the folder itself) over and set the permissions. I do not have an "Admin Settings" under tools either. Nor does SitemapXML show up under "Configuration" on the admin page. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

I'm using ZC 1.5. I installed sitemap v2.1.

Re: SitemapXML v.2

I did not get a "Google XML Sitemap" menu item created in the installation as described in step 8 of the installation instructions.

Step "8. Go to Admin -> Tools -> Google XML Sitemap (If error messages occur, change permissions on the XML files to 777)"

What am I missing?

Re: SitemapXML v.2

Hi,

I have recently installed this module... currently I am using the search engine friendly URL module, and here is where things are getting peculiar...
My site supports two languages, English as well as Hebrew, whereas Hebrew is the default language of the site. My character encoding is UTF-8, however, the XML sitemaps are being produced with gibberish instead of Hebrew (search engine friendly URL's contain Hebrew). This should not be happening... How do I ensure that the character encoding is properly supported by this module?

Thanks in advance...

A.

This module uses the standard features of the zen-cart.
Send me a link to the site.

Re: SitemapXML v.2

When I go to my sitemap ```html
http://www.MyDomain.com/sitemap.xml

Error loading stylesheet: An unknown error has occurred (805303f4)
http: // MyDomain . com / includes / templates / template_default / css / gss.xsl

File gss.xsl exists under includes/templates/template_default/css/

Why is that?

Re: SitemapXML v.2

I just noticed the following:

There is **NO **error when the following URL is used

http://MyDomain.com/sitemap.xml

But when using this URL, the error gets generated!

http://www.MyDomain.com/sitemap.xml
Error loading stylesheet: An unknown error has occurred (805303f4)
http://MyDomain.com/includes/templates/template_default/css/gss.xsl

What causes this?

Check <http://www.MyDomain.com/includes/templates/classic/css/gss.xsl>
Use the canonical name of the domain.

or

File includes/classes/sitemapxml.php
Find:
```php
$header .= ($this->stylesheet != '' ? '<?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="' . HTTP_SERVER . DIR_WS_CATALOG . $this->stylesheet . '"?'.'>' . "\n" : "");
Replace by
$header .= ($this->stylesheet != '' ? '<?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="' . DIR_WS_CATALOG . $this->stylesheet . '"?'.'>' . "\n" : "");
regenerate all sitemaps xml.
Re: SitemapXML v.2
Hello Andrew - I use your very good plugin on several sites - I have one site using your latest version (v 3.2.6 17.06.2012 16:13) and it is not submitting images for indexing. Is there a reason for this or a fix for this - I have already re-installed the plugin but made no difference.
thank you,
Mike
Re: SitemapXML v.2
eOstrE:
I found out that when you submid the XML sitemap, the mod generates a fault.
ZC1.5.1
Sitemap XML. v 3.2.6 17.06.2012 16:13
The XML file that is created, the URLSET ( </urlset> ) is not present (missing) at the end.
So robots will nog recognise this XML file
So people, don't forget to write it yourself.
I have the same problem with the "sitemap/sitemapproducts.xml" file. Upon close inspection, it is missing " </urlset>" at the end of the file.
Can someone tell me how to fix this?
Re: SitemapXML v.2
Hi Andrew,
long time no talk - simply cos I had no problems - up until now.....
I am setting up a new store (zc1.5.1)
Installed all and sundry on my local dev server and on live server. Both installs appear to be identical.
SitemapXML v 3.2.6 17.06.2012 16:13 installed on both machines
Force rebuild all sitemap*.xml files works fine on local server but throws an error on live machine:
The page /index.php?main_page=sitemapxml&rebuild=yes&ping=& you requested either does not exist on this server or has been moved permanently.
The strange thing is that no debug log file is generated for this error.
I have re-uploaded all sitemapXML files twice, uninstalled the mod and re-installed twice. Double-checked read/write permissions: 666 on both machines.
Same error remains..... :censored:
Compared files and can't find a clue
I am at wits end - can you give me some hints please?
Thanks / Frank
