A Pink Boutique Support Thread

I am having a few problems with my websit. My Logo, name etc is centered. but the rest of the page is way over to the left & half the info is missing because of it. Is there a way of fixing it or is there another template that I can use. As I have a few customers that can't seem to shop on my website.

Can you please let me know how I can fix this

Undoubtedly there is a way to fix it, but unless we can actually see your website we can't tell you.

The site seems fine to me everything is centered correctly and nothing appears to be over to the left.

What browser are you using,

have you done a "hard refresh" (ctrl r or ctrl f5)

Have you tried viewing it in an alternate browser to see if it is fine in that?

I checked in opera 11.5 and FF6, and it looks fine, just like the demo site, no obvious layout issues

I am aware of this problem, but have not had time to work on the fix yet. If you find the fix, please post it to the support thread. You might try commenting out the ie9 stylesheet to start.

This problem has not been reported in the other free templates--All Business, Aberdeen Neutral, Andover Modern, Apparel Boutique, Alyssa Rounded, Ashley Pink, Avonlee Contempo or in the older version of the pink boutique template. I just messed something up when I did the update. I hope to be able to get this fixed soon.

Tried to find the required parameters, but i'm not expert in this programming :(

Is it known issue, or i have to find some solution.

I am also having the same problem with my site sometimes and I am using the latest Internet explorer

try the fix in post 267, it specifically addresses that problem

not the file should be

/includes/templates/YOUR_template/common/html_header.php

I hv a problem when editing the main page using zen cart define page editor. I used HTMLarea instead of Plain Text and it seem that after I edit, the main page was corrupted and the slide pics are not working already...

Yeah I was having the same issue with the page jumping to the left in IE. I have applied the fix, but now the page is jumping to the right.

I am using IE9. I can't post the site here as it is not ready to go live yet.

Is there any other fixes I can try?

looks like you can't edit your posts here. So I will reply again. It looks like I have fixed the problem by changing the css in ie9 to

#contentMainWrapper{position:relative; left:-421px;border-top:1px solid #444;}

Yes, this page contains php code and must be edited in a plain text editor. This is specified in the readme.html file. You will need to re upload the define_main_page.php file and only edit it using a plain text editor.

Using Zen Cart 1.3.9h

problem: On my home page, The 4 Buttons that say
New Items
Contact Us
Specials
Newsletter

all link to my admin panel. For the life of me I cant find the right file to change the links. I have used google chrome to inspect the elements. I think I have gone through my ftp 15 times looking for them. If ANYONE can tell me the correct file to edit these links please please please let me know. I just realized that they were not working and I don't want to make any more changes (like product sorting) until I get this worked out.
