Hi.
Using Zen Cart 1.3.9h
web site address https://www.floppylattedesigns.com/catalog
numerous Mods have been added.problem: On my home page, The 4 Buttons that say

Newsletterall link to my admin panel. For the life of me I cant find the right file to change the links. I have used google chrome to inspect the elements. I think I have gone through my ftp 15 times looking for them. If ANYONE can tell me the correct file to edit these links please please please let me know. I just realized that they were not working and I don't want to make any more changes (like product sorting) until I get this worked out.
Thank you so much for any direction that you can give me.

I believe that this has happened because you edited your define_main_page.php file via the admin using the html area editor instead of the plain text editor. You should use the plain text editor to edit this page because it contains php code and relative urls.

Regarding my previous post- what i meant to point out was that when i compared files between default_template and this template i noticed $request_type did not exist in this template. In the thread i quoted, this was suggested as a solution to avoid the problem of serving mixed SSL and non SSL content (if the request is for SSL then https:// is used, etc.) I have not yet noticed a problem with SSL, but just wanted to point it out and ask about it.
Thanks,
Mei

i noticed that whereas in a number of 1.3.9h files the variable $request_type has been added
eg. tpl_product_info_display.php --

All template override files are made from direct copies of the template_default files. No variable changes have been made.

Here is how the Welcome Email currently looks:

This is not really a template specific problem. I would recommend doing a developers toolkit serarch for the constants.

Hi Anne, luv the template and have been able to figure out just about everything that I needed to do to get it to the customers satisfaction, except for one thing. I have been all through this thread and several others in hopes of finding the answer, but no luck.
The sales tagline in the header is located too far to the top of the header and the customer would like it more in the center of the brown area.
This is a one click install of 1.5.1 with the only thing added being your template. The website is www.awbksales.com.

I think the issue has to do with your web browser. I checked your site using IE7 and it looks fine. I use the same template and when I check my site the tag line is way at the top of the brown area, however, it looks fine in all other web browsers such as Firefox, Chrome and newer versions of IE. I havent bothered to fix mine because not too many people use IE7 anymore anyways. Have you checked the site in other web browsers? Like I said, it looks good in IE7. I hope this helps somewhat :)

You can add this to your stylesheet.css file:
#tagline {padding-top:20px;}

Thanks Anne for the additional information :smile:
On a slightly different note, I seem to be having issues changing the logo in the order confirmation email. Everything was working fine until I upgraded to the new ZC version (1.5). I have changed the header.jpg file in /public_html/email to my own logo but it's not accepting the change (I've cleared by cache). Am I doing something wrong or have I edited the incorrect file location?
Thanks so much in advance :D

The email logo problem is not related to the template. I would recommend doing a search of the forum for help and the answer as I think that I have seen the question posted many times before ;-)

Hi there,
Css would solve this for you. Though you would have to tweak the below slightly to get a perfect centre if you change anything (text size etc...)
#tagline {
color: #FDD;
font-size: 1.7em;
font-weight: bold;
text-align: left;
vertical-align: middle; -- Delete this
padding-top: 21px; -- add this, and tweak as desired.
}
web developer tools such as firebug and inspect element options in browsers such as google chrome and firefox make finding these particularly easy.

You need to save the image on a transparent background, not white.
