I've downloaded cross_sell_advanced_1-0. I noticed there's no literature or sql file in the zip. I gave it a try anyway but find it's not fully installed because some tables were not created. Anyone else notice the sql file is missing?

you need to install cross sell 1.3.1 by Granville first. then it will work great.

I know, bit sloppy of the persons involved who authorise add-ons available for download to not ask the add-on writer to create even the smallest of .txt instuctions.

Also you will find that there are no admin/images/icons files for the 'edit' and 'delete' buttons.. it doesnt matter when using FF but you get the ugly missing images thing on IE. easily resolved, just make your own.. i did.

im slowly finding that 95% of the add-on that are on the download section are 100% spot on. But 5% of the add-on haave bad or no documentation.. one mod (i forget which, i think its manufactures logo display) has .txt instructions that are actually wrong! It tells you to put files in the wrong locations and manual edits of 1 file is also WRONG!.... but once you workout how ot fix it, it is actually a great mod.

Makes you wonder it was even tested or looked at before it was approved for adding to the download section!

erm... i started out my zc life using Yellow1912's xsell mod and SEO mod.. both requiring the module manager...

after his SEO mod broke on me and conflicting reports of JACS working/not working on 138 and 139 with various module managers i totally ditched them during my sites rebuild.

now i use Ceon's URI which i find much better
and i now use the older Xsell mods which Yellow based his on.

I never liked the fact i had to install module manager first to use his mods.. thought it was a bit backward... like ye days of olde 3.5 floppy disks, having to load one thing before another could work.

as for additional features...? i cannot remember what addition features yellows mod has other that AJAX.. which fees more like style over substance to me. Also using crosssell1.3.1 i feel is better and faster as i can see images of the products rather than having to remember what the product code is (model number)

oh aye, yes, i remember... two way and one way Xsells... still not worth the hassle of an additional mod (more things to break) for the sake of a few more mouse clicks

Add Customers From Admin 1.07 (tested by me)

I beg to differ on this one. I've got a fresh/test-bed version of v1.3.9b.

The "Add Customers from Admin 1.07" installs and runs fine in the admin, but its processing doesn't result in the entry_zone_id value being set in the customer's address_book database record. This, in turn, results (at least in my case) in no tax being applied to any purchase made by that customer.

Hi all, as the activity on this thread has slowed down a fair bit, i think updates will only happen once a week now, or for every 5 bits of feedback i get about mods. which ever comes sooner.

I am unable to upload EP file (it says it is uploaded, but it keeps looking into tmp dir instead of TempEP; it could be that I also tried 1.2.5.4 which is using temp and did not delete all that was necessary).
If I ftp the file to TempEP it will populate the database.

Happy to report that Google Checkout V1.4.7 works with Zen Cart 1.3.9a PHP up to 5.2.13 (I don't have PHP 5.3 so I did not test it).

To make GCO work, follow the installation instructions for 1.3.8a but make sure you apply the changes manually to 1.3.9a files.

In my case it did not work because I had Prevent Spider Sessions set to TRUE on the admin side in Configurations - Sessions.

If this is set to TRUE GCO doesn't work. The work around this is to turn this to false which is a bad idea because spiders can now start sessions with this enabled.

An alternative option is to do the following: 1. >

3. Search for define('MODULE_PAYMENT_GOOGLECHECKOUT_MULTISOCKET', 'False');

4. Immediately below it add this: define('SESSION_BLOCK_SPIDERS','False');
