Re: 3d Secure and cardinal centinel

Nedward:

Thanks Dr Byte, I've enabled switch and got past that screen but then it says in red

We were not able to process your order. Please select an alternate payment method, or contact the store owner for assistance. ( 7 )
I then receive an email which says

We were not able to process your order. Please select an alternate payment
method, or contact the store owner for assistance. ( 7 [Field format error:
12000-Transaction is not compliant due to missing or invalid 3D-secure
authentication values]) -

Problem occurred while customer #19 -- My name was here -- was attempting
checkout.

This is refreshing unlike previous versions where the error message was hard to decipher At least the message tells me something about why it's failing and which customer had the problem, which is great.

Now, what's gone wrong with my 3ds?

Thanks again for all your help

Ned

I am having the exact same problem with maestro cards We were not able to process your order. Please select an alternate payment
method, or contact the store owner for assistance. ( 7 [Field format error:
12000-Transaction is not compliant due to missing or invalid 3D-secure
authentication values. Looking at the log it would appear that its not even going through to cardinal to perform the 3d secure bit. Any ideas why this is happening

Re: 3d Secure and cardinal centinel

Hi there,

Could anyone help with a problem that we are having?

We are trying to set up with Cardinal and they are testing our site, but they are not able to make a payment. We are getting the following error (I've replaced some of the ip address with ???s)

*Cardinal Lookup 3[6e749505a4d9c3880eb8f4bc2d7c79ae] Cardinal Centinel -
cmpi_lookup error - 1002, 4535 - Error Processing Lookup Request Message,
Error Validating IPAddress Value, Must Be Formatted NNN.NNN.NNN.NNN Passed
[67.17.???.??, 91.208.??.???] *

We have been advised to replace a line in the code but that hasn't made any difference. The lines we replaced were as follows :

Can you try replacing the top piece of code with the one below it?

 /includes/modules/payment/paypaldp.php

 Line 2089 contains this:

     $data .= '<IPAddress>' . $this->escapeXML(zen_get_ip_address()) . '</IPAddress>';

 Replace that line with these 2 lines:

     $ipAddress = explode(',', zen_get_ip_address(), 1);
     $data .= '<IPAddress>' . $this->escapeXML($ipAddress[0]) . '</IPAddress>';

```Any help would be much appreciated as our site is effectively down while these tests are ongoing.
Best regards,
Dave
Re: 3d Secure and cardinal centinel
Try removing the ", 1" at the end of the first line you put in as replacement, like this:
  $ipAddress = explode(',', zen_get_ip_address());
gmonkeyuk:
what is this Processor Module?
It's the more advanced API we requested Cardinal create for better security (more PA-DSS compatible). It's not enabled by default since it only works in conjunction with Zen Cart and Paypal-UK.
No idea. I doubt they'll fix it before morning. Hopefully you'll be pleasantly surprised.
