Simple Popup 1.0

I would not advise adding new mods to a v1.3.8 site; you need to concentrate your efforts on upgrading to a newer, secure version of Zen Cart.

And just in case anyone still needs help with jquery files, there can be only one jscript_jquery file on your site. If two mods include jquery files, delete one of them (probably best to keep the newest version).

Re: Simple Popup 1.0

It will not. You will not be able to access the configuration options unless you make some adjustments.

Re: Simple Popup 1.0

gjh42,

Thanks for the reply regarding the module. We do have it working in version 1.39H at present and are looking to update to the latest version 1.51 which we are wanting to find out how many modules we will loose when upgrading. Will they be doing an update to the present module?

Re: Simple Popup 1.0

Currently using Zen Cart v1.5.5e.

I'd like to use a coupon popup for the homepage of my site. I installed the Simple Popup 1.1 plugin but came to realize that it doesn't function properly with ZC 1.5.5. Before I go and design one myself I wanted to ask if anyone knew of the another modal or popup plugin or zc function I may have overlooked for making a coupon popup/modal.

thanks,
trebo

Re: Simple Popup 1.0

Does anyone know of a simple homepage pop-up for discount form?
I have looked in the threads and in the plugin sections but only found simple popup V1.1 that was done in 2011. Is this still current and able to work on Zencart V1.5.7?

While I haven't tried it, it looks like the Zen Cart version is relatively not an issue and that it is more about the jQuery version. That said, the download page alone identifies how to work around the duplication of jQuery.

Anyways, considering the date's of discussion above, I would say that more than likely it works as a popup. The question is what additional information/processing is needed to support the desired "pop-up for discount" form? How do you envision this for the customer?
