Alysa Rounded Template Support Thread

I'm not the template designer, but do know how to get rid of the right column. Go to Configuration, Layout Settings and change (edit) Column Right Status - Global to 0.

Hope that helps!,

Re: Alysa Rounded Template Support Thread

hi, i've installed alysa_rounded template at http://beautinese.com/shop but its not like your demo, there's a third column that i want to get rid off, i've turn off the LEFT/RIGHT COLUMN Status for right column but the blue column remain there, please assist me how to erase the third column

i've read the INSTALL.TXT but i cant find how to fix it, maybe i missed something in there

thanks in advance

This template is designed as a 2 column layout. You either need to turn the 3rd column off, or add the styles for this column in the stylesheet. Read the install.txt file for the recommended admin settings.

Thanks,

Anne

Re: Alysa Rounded Template Support Thread

Hi,

I have tried IE, Chrome and Firefox.
All browsers working fine except for Firefox.
When a product has more than 1 pictures, the "Add This To My Cart" icon, facebook, twitter and sharing icons are mixed up with the other pictures.

For example:
http://www.fakeflowershop.com.au/cjshop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4_13&products_id=270

I have tried a few products and a few computers, all seems to have the same issue.
Is it only me and my Firefox browser?

Thanks,

Cheers,

This problem is not present in the live demo. I suspect that the problem had been caused by an edit you have made or maybe it is in the addthis counter stylesheet that you have added. You can view the demo here:

http://www.picaflor-azul.com/free-demos/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_8&products_id=25

Go to:

Hardware :: Keyboards :: Microsoft Internet Keyboard PS/2

to view a product with multiple product images.

To correct your problem, add this to your stylesheet:

#productAdditionalImages{clear:both;}

Thanks,

Anne

Re: Alysa Rounded Template Support Thread

First I want to thank you for this amazing template.

I have a couple questions. I don't want a logo up in the logo area in the header so I deleted the image. I see in Chrome that there is a (I am not sure what to call it lol) an icon that is where the logo was. How can I remove this? You can see it here in the top left under the newsletter.

Also I have made my header and I have it installed. I believe the dimensions are 1000x300 and I when I add it to the site you can see it is really cut off. How can I fix this?

Thanks a bunch!

Re: Alysa Rounded Template Support Thread

Hi,

Sorry to bother again, I still got a problem with About Us page, I followed your earlier posts and edited something in define about us file, so it won't show as Error page all the time. But now I couldn't figure out how to get "Navbar title" and "Heading Title" to show as "About us", could you please take a look and give me some suggestions? I know I must have done something wrong, heehee, just couldn't figure it out by my own power.

Thanks a lot and wish you wonderful weekend.

Sincerely,
Rui

You are most likely missing files (probably language files). Go through the template package again (be sure to download the updated version) and make sure you have all of the files uploaded to the correct places.

Thanks,

Anne

Re: Alysa Rounded Template Support Thread

Is there something in this template that prevents banners from displaying in the header?

I'm using the template on a fresh upgrade to 1.3.9. I've only got your template installed. I'm working on a local/test server right now.

By the way, beautiful work! I wish there had been templates this pretty when I first set up my site 2 years ago!

Thanks,
Jessica

Hi, Anne,

Thanks a lot for the tip, now I fixed it. It was a very stupid mistake I made, in the about_us file, instead of like this:
define('NAVBAR_TITLE', 'About Us');
define('HEADING_TITLE', 'About Us');

I wrote:
define('ABOUT_US', 'About Us');
define('ABOUT_US', 'About Us');

Haahaa, but from now on I know where to look if similar errors happen again. Thanks again.

Best regards,
Rui

No, there is nothing preventing the banners. If you activate the banner and give me a link to your site I can take a look.

Thanks,

Anne

No "stupid" at all--a very common mistake. I am happy that you got it all figured out.

Thanks,

Anne

Re: Alysa Rounded Template Support Thread

Hi! How do I get options right underneath one another instead of spread out like they are on this page?

Thanks in advance!,

Add this to the bottom of your stylesheet.

#productAttributes{float:left;}
.navNextPrevWrapper {clear:both;}

Thanks,

Anne
