Timeout Error: Whoops! Sorry, but after upgrade from 1.9.3d-1.9.3h

Well, as Camelot are not only Certified Hosts but have a wealth of experience with Zen Cart I would recommend that you contact them. They should be able to help you out, or at least point you towards the problem.

I'm not using Dreamhost and I got the same message.

It happen because 1 of my shipping module that I was using did not upgraded to 1.3.9h.

I used Winmere to merge the file in includes/classes/shopping_cart.php and that seems to work.

I had already made the point, in this thread and other threads, that all these errors seem to be resolved by updating add-ons which are not compatible with the latest 1.3.9+ verions.

Yes, but the question was asked if anyone was having this error who was not using Dreamhost. Royal and I were answering that question.

Understood.

There have been quite a few of these errors reported recently - but the problem is invariably caused by add-ons which are not compatible with 1.3.9+ or else with a failure to update the full file set to 1.3.9+

Aay, still struggling with this.
Four things here, one is the list of files that are on my website version of zen, versus the standard v.1.3.9h (this in the hope of finding an add-on not compatible with 1.3.9h):

zenstore/adminxx/includes/classes/sessions.php
zenstore/adminxx/includes/configure_original.php
zenstore/adminxx/includes/configure.php
zenstore/adminxx/includes/functions/audience.php
zenstore/adminxx/includes/functions/gzip_compression.php
zenstore/adminxx/includes/functions/sessions.php
zenstore/adminxx/includes/languages/english/cache.php
zenstore/cache/myDEBUG…. (plus two session files…)
zenstore/extras/ipn_test_return.php
zenstore/extras/ipn_test.php
zenstore/extras/nochex_apc_test_return.php
zenstore/includes/auto_loaders/nochex_apc.core.php
zenstore/includes/classes/class.phpBB.php
zenstore/includes/configure.php
zenstore/includes/extra_configures/extra_cart_actions/
zenstore/includes/extra_configures/extra_cart_actions/index.html
zenstore/includes/functions/gzip_compression.php
zenstore/includes/images/ (lots of them)
zenstore/includes/init_includes/init_nochex_apc_sessions.php
zenstore/includes/languages/english/html_includes/english.php
zenstore/includes/languages/english/html_includes/tpl_header.php
zenstore/includes/languages/english/modules/payment/cc.php
zenstore/includes/languages/english/modules/payment/nochex_apc.php
zenstore/includes/modules/payment/cc.php
zenstore/includes/modules/payment/nochex_apc/
zenstore/includes/modules/payment/nochex_apc/logs/
zenstore/includes/modules/payment/nochex_apc/logs/index.html
zenstore/includes/modules/payment/nochex_apc/nochex_apc_admin_notification.php
zenstore/includes/modules/payment/nochex_apc/nochex_functions.php
zenstore/includes/modules/payment/nochex_apc.php
zenstore/nochex_apc_handler.phpI updated the nochex stuff from above, even though I don't use nochex any more.

I am sure that the file /includes/classes/shopping_cart.php has no differences between the site, and the v1.3.9h distro.

I do, however, use the cc module for external credit card processing - I note that it is not supported by zen any more, so one has to use older versions for it.

I am getting frustrated by this, and the store owner is breathing down my neck. I have much temptation to revert back to v1.3.8, where I know it used to work.

Well, as you are not using NoChex, then why not remove all of the NoChex files?

As the Manual Credit Card processing module is not included in 1.3.9+ then it wouldn't have been updated to work with 1.3.9+

I do, however, use the cc module for external credit card processing

Depending on where you live that's either illegal (because it stores card data in the database, and I assume this is a shared server), or else just in violation of the legal agreement you sign with the Card Companies (possibly via your Bank) which does not allow online transactions to be processed offline.

If the card companies find out then the store owner can whistle goodbye to their ability to take card payments (which would kill their business stone dead) and/or be liable to MAJOR fines - which could bankrupt them.
