Andover Modern Template Support Thread

Hi,

Great template love it. I have an issue in that since I installed it on my site (https://www.handtools-2u.com) I cannot get tp products or categories.

It was fine when I first installed it and then I deleted all the example products/categories from the zen cart install, changed a couple of images in define main page.

Now when I click on a category the page just refreshes to the front page?

Any ideas what i have done?

Hi Anne,
I have recently upgraded my zencart from 1.39h to 1.5, the site seems to be working fine except for the imageslider on the homepage. It has all the images stacked one on top of the other.
Is it an issue with the slider and the new version or something else?
What do you suggest?

The template is fully compatible with versino 1.5. It sounds like you are missing the includes/modules/pages/index/jscript_easySlider.php file.

I just installed your template and love it, all your instructions have been excellent along with your responses to help others in this thread have been most useful for answering almost all the questions i have had.

I have just a small issue and am unsure if it is Template related or core files.

In the product details page, when there are Attributes present a line of text appears that says "You may upload your own image files"

how do I eliminate this text from the page?

Hello ;-) This is not a template issue. You can use the developers toolkit to search for this text. It will tell you what file and line the text is in and then you can change or delete it.

I have another question, again not sure if this is a Template issue or not, if not, I will gladly post elsewhere.

I am trying to add new external links to the "Information" and "Important Information" lists in the footer. I have tried to search the general forum and re-read the majority of this template forum with no luck so far finding an answer.

Just not sure how to put external links in these two areas.

I would also like to add a "LinkedIn" icon to the footer along with Facebook and Twitter

I have added the appropriate code to footer_menu_defines.php but am not sure where else I need to define this so that it will display

Actually i was provided with this HTML code to add the seal,

You can add links to the footer information in includes/languages/english/extra_definitions/andover_modern/footer_menu_defines.php.

The important links are just ezpages that you turn on for the footer.

See my previous response for the file to edit. Dont' forget to upload the image to your server and change the path to the image in the above code.

The more I work with your template, the more I like it
