Apparel Boutique Template Support Thread

Hi,

I am using v1.3.9h for the Apparel Boutique Template.

my site is https://www.2ndmask.com

However, when i visit my site via Firefox and Google Chrome, everything is fine but I can't found the facebook, twitter logo on the footer and the shopping cart, search logo on the header.

Both of the problems with the extra gap will be appeared between the header and the body via IE8.

Can you help?

The templates have all been cross browser tested in firefox, ie9, ie8, ie7, safari, chrome. If you make customizations to the template you'll need to re-do cross browser testing and make adjustments as needed.

The about us page is created using the about us page module. You should download the addon from the free software addons section and remove all of the files. You will also need to remove the link from the includes/languages/english/html_includes/apparel_boutique/footer_menu_defines.php file.

Yes, you can add it to your includes/templates/apparel_boutique/common/header.php file.

I assume you are referring to the tpl_header.php file? No header.php file in the common folder. What type of code do I need to add?

That is correct, you need the tpl_header.php file. You will add whatever code is appropriate for what you want to add. If it is an image you'll add code for the image, if it is a list you will add this code, etc.

but can anyone tell me how to change the width to full screen (100%)

did the usuual 'mainwrapper' to 100% in css but made no difference??

I was translating some buttons from english to italian and for example here some are ok:

But for example the SEARCH BUTTON in every page continue to show the english language, but into the italian folder it was translated, why? How I can patch it?

Right click on the button, do a view source, or a search in the developers toolkit to find the names of the buttons that need to be changed.

I am new to Zen Cart...I have 1.5 via GoDaddy. I am accustomed to html programs so what is the best program to edit the php files??? I have tried to change the header info twice with two different text editor programs, and so far they both made my website 'disappear' when I uploaded them. HELP!

You need to only edit php files in a plain text editor such as notepad.

With hungarian language all sideboxes are disappearing?
Check here: http://www.lepcsok.com Hungarian language with default teme is working well instead, showing all sideboxes.

Ok problem solved! the theme needed to be installed while using the hungarian language from admin, and reset the sideboxes while hungarian language was active, now it's all right, yeah! http://www.lepcsok.com/

If you followed the directions, you should have saved the file in your template override directory. You can just delete it and copy the unchanged includes/languages/english/page2.php to your override directory includes/languages/english/apparel_boutique/page2.php and then make your changes.

The same is true with our english.php file. You should be making changes to the override directory file in includes/languages/apparel_boutique/english.php. If you can not see the changes, then you have edited the includes/languages/english.php file and not the override file.
