I was told by the support team that the free add-on to Zencart needs a public forum support page prior to approval. I am not trying to advertise I just copied the add-on description into the thread as I was not sure how best to start a support thread.

My mistake, maybe. Your website talks about a Free Trial for this program, which makes it commercial software after the trial period. If you're going to offer a free Zencart version, I'll look forward to trying it.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Great add-on. For potential updates of this mod, It would be nice if you could add the products to your cart while on the Facebook store then navigate to your stores cart upon checkout. Something like this.

One month is free. Then you have to buy a bundle ($700 and up) and it seems you would host everything on their server, if I understood correctly.

Sorry for the confusion, you don't need to host with us to use this app. Our web hosting is completely separate to the facebook app. We would not charge hosting unless you bought a hosting package with us (which you are not obliged to do).

We are currently running a free beta for the facebook app that is expected to run for a few months. At the end, we may start charging, but we anticipate that we will still be able to offer a version for free. We anticipate that the full version will only cost around $20 a month; possibly less, depending on bandwidth and support costs.

We hope that this clears things up.

We have tried installing your new module, we have security key and have added the app to our facebook page, filled in all the correct settings but keep getting the following error:

Error : Shop plugin has not been located, please check that it has been installed at http://www.jsweb.co.uk/ (if this URL is incorrect, please change it in the App admin settings)

The above URL is the correct location of where the module has been installed

Any suggestions where we might have gone wrong?

When you request the fb_browse.php the page, it responds with a 404 error in the HTML headers, even though it actually exists:

e.g.
http://www.jsweb.co.uk/fb_browse.php?n=zc_browse&p=<PLUGINPASSWORD>

This result in the JSON request in Facebook app failing and resulting in the error messsage you are receiving.

I have seen this error with some of the Friendly URL rewriters, as they appear to always return 404 even if it is not applicable.

I have installed the plug-in and the app on facebook, but even though is shows my categories no products are being displayed.

Did I miss something?

Sorry not sure why the products are not showing. In theory add-on only shows products that are products_quantity >0 and products_status = 1.

If you can let me know your website address, I can take a look to see if I can work out why.

That answered my question. I have all of my items at QTY=0 since I don't track inventory. I will change them to at least 1 and see if that solved the issue.

Nice plug in, good job on it.

Only took a few minutes to get it installed and running.

It will be interesting to see how much traffic it generates for our site.

This works great. Is there a way to add a tab that will show the online shop?
