Perfect! Thanks all off you. I had som troubles installing, had to change a few things manually in the database, apparently my database could not handel this part of the query in slimbox_install.sql.

I find out what the configuration_group_id was and inset manually.

This for those out- there who do see slimbox in the menu, but cant find the options beneath that menu. First contribution after leeching a few months :-)

I had zen lightbox installed on z cart 1.5 and gave up on it. It would not constrain sizes of pop up images. So I uninstalled it and installed slimbox instead. Slimbox has same issue. Size of the popup is not constrained. Any ideas?

Size of the pop-up is "constrained" based on your image size settings..

I just installed Fual Slim Box and while it is not Fancybox, it does the job. Maybe I should try Zen Lightbox? The issue I have is that when I upload more than one image for a product I:

(a) do not have a gallery of images through which I can go in FS popup window (I suppose there must be arrows to move left and right through my gallery); and
(b) have the same old default popup windows popping up when I click on those additional images for my product (I suppose they override the FS code somehow);

This issue only occurs when a product has more than one image.

Since this is a forum made up of folks who volunteer time to answer posts, whether or not someone answers your post is primarily up to you -- NOT them.

When an answer is not forthcoming after a couple of days, you need to consider that the main reason is that no one has enough information to make a determination of the problem. Or, the person(s) monitoring the thread just might be working or (in some rare cases) taking time off.

Fual Slimbox may or may not be creating your problem BUT, you fail to let us know the specifics of your site as requested in the posting tips.

Please review the info above and provide us with some information so that we can be of assistance.

• NO ONE has an answer to your question/issue.

(Some folks will only respond when they have something MEANINGFUL to say versus a blanket “I don’t know how to do that” kind of answer.)

• Folks are just busy and will answer if/when they can..

(family and other personal obligations, day jobs, paid jobs, etc will usually trump forum participation – this is to be expected – after all it’s unrealistic to expect that folks are sitting around this forum all day and night waiting to answer questions)

• Your question got missed. (and while I’m on this point) Your post MIGHT have been missed if your post is now a FEW pages back (like more than TWO or more pages) with no response.. Missed does NOT mean “it’s been an hour and no one responded to my question, so let me 'bump' the thread by re-posting my question again”

Yeah we know this but Diva does pick and choose who and whom she does and doesn't want to respond to, I know this for a fact. Best thing to do is be a lurker like me it keeps you out of trouble whether in your (or my)mind we are creating it or stirring it up :-)

Now to answer your question from my mediocre standpoint or is that viewpoint? I too first installed Fuel Slimbox and tons of trouble, after scouring these awesome forums and reading all of Diva awesome posts aong with Gibly and some others here I don't remember the names off. I uninstalled Fuel and installed the other one zen_lightbox-v1.6.4_1.20120428 and Image Handler and have had no issues at all with them!

For the benefit of those who might have the same problem with old default popup windows popping up with Fual Slimbox and/or Zen Light box, I re-uploaded /includes/modules/MY_TEMPLATE/additional_images.php and that cured the problem. The old default popup windows do not appear anymore.

As stated in post #33The fix for the next/prev button was posted a little while back.. the suggestion to roll back to the v2.1.0 version of the additional_images.php file will cause problems (especially for those on hosts with PHP 5) as it contains old Zen Cart code and deprecated PHP functions..

That's when I noticed that the additional_images.php file that came with FSM v2.1.0 included code from older versions of Zen Cart (v1.3.8 and v1.3.9) including the obsolete "ereg_replace" function which was also removed from the default Zen Cart v1.5 version of the additional_images.php file.

Old outdated code.. much better lightbox solutions available.. Suggest searching the free plugins for options..
