You have to change the ***YOUR_TEMPLATE folder to have the same Template name you are using in your Zen cart. ***

Hi,

I have just installed this plug in and everything is working great!

However, I'm kinda stuck right now.

1. I'm trying to show random products instead of fixing into certain products only. I want the customers to see different products when they refresh the page.

2. I can't find an easier way to include all the products in cross sell. The only way I can find is to checking the box 1 by 1 for every single products.

I found this at the sample:

But nothing shows up when I applied it.

Anybody have suggestions?

I backed up the database then I installed the plug in. The installation went awry, so I deleted the changes to product_info.php and product_info_display.php. My product pages not display BLANK. Please help!!

Installing after an upgrade to 1.5.1. In the admin, all appears good and functions properly. However, the cross-sells do not appear on the product page.

I have added the required bit of code to tpl_product_info_display.php (I tried various locations):

I'm using the over-ride system throughout.

FYI: I was unable to run the SQL Patch because the this is an upgrade and the SQL was already in place. However, I don't believe that is the cause of the issue because all files are present in the admin.

I just installed this mod on one of my websites but the Cross Sell does not show up in the catalog drop down. I tried what was mentioned in page 2 of this discussion but it give me 2 errors as follows...

1. The language key entered has not been defined. Please check that it has been spelt correctly.
2. Error The filename definition entered does not exist. Please check that it has been spelt correctly

I typed everything in as stated in the Admin Page Registration but no luck so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am running 1.50.

No luck so far. I have tried several things and so far no known fix.

I am having the same problem:

I am using v1.5.1.

I have done all of the above including:

(includes/templates/aberdeen_neutral/templates/tpl_product_info_display.php) and still nothing shows up on the product page.

I followed everything exactly. Now the Cross Sell works but the Advanced Cross Sell does not. Any ideas as to what is going on?

As soon as I said the above, now sometimes the Cross Sell works, sometimes not. I can only get it to display 2 products, even though I have it set to 6 in the catalog??? Any other input here?

Hi Folks,

If your not seeing anything popup in the catalog drop down in admin here are the steps to get it to show in the menu there.

Go to admin --> Admin Page Registration

For the page key you can enter what ever you want to title it

Page name is BOX_CATALOG_ADVANCED_XSELL_PRODUCTS

Page Filename is FILENAME_XSELL_ADVANCED_PRODUCTS

Page Parameters, leave blank

Menu, choose catalog

Check the checkbox for display in menu

Enter a number for the sort order, whatevery you want

And thats it, if you want to use the original cross sell page and not the advance cross sell you can download the original cross sell module and navigate to admin/boxes/extra boxes/ open the file in there and you'll see the appropriate keys to register another page.

I have installed Cross sell advanced,......admin shows under configuration and catalog.
I do as readme says, it shows my cross sell in the admin, but it is not showing on product page?

What do we need to do to make the template work, b/c copying the template files didn't work.

I was able to check off the products, but they don't show up anywhere near the main product.

And some of the instructions seem to be missing. We don't know what code to change.

This module was designed for ZC 1.5.0 - at the time of writing this we are at ZC 1.5.5e with many, many modifications since ZC 1.5.0 was released some 5 years ago. IOW, this mod may not be compatible with your ZC version and that may be your issue.

So this thread is for "Cross Sell Advanced," correct?

That's the one we installed.

We are VERY new to ZC & all I can tell you is that we are using the latest version of ZC - v1.5.5e

So if it's not working, that's fine, I guess we'll have to find something else.
