Display Model Number in the what's new box & Remove Contact Us on 0 stock level

2: I really did try to find search the forum on how to make these configs work.
Using Admin>> Configuration >> Whats New | All | Featured
It seems the "All" is now working correctly, But the whats new is not.

3: How do you turn of the contact us on inventory items -- I set the admin >> config >> stock
-- allow checkout = true
