Since I installed ceon uri mapping, wholesale doesn't work...

Hi,
Since I installed ceon uri mapping, I have gone to each product to make the links and found that the text box for wholesale is now missing. Anyone know what to do?

did a file overwrite one of the files used for the wholesale mod

I am not sure and not sure how i would know if it has changed this. Do you think If I re install the wholesale part this would get rid of the uri mapping or would it be a case of having to check the files for wholesale one at a time to make sure it does not happen?

I very much doubt it's to do with Ceon mapping.
You need to go through the files of both of the mods in question and see if any of the same files are used in both mods.
In future you MUST compare and merge any mods into your existing files if there are mutually edited files else you will get this sort of problem everytime you add a mod.

I think it may have been when I re named my admin folder as I kept getting hacked! I re uploaded and it is fine. However, I have now found that when I add an atribute and press insert, I get redirected to the admin home. Do you know how to fix this?

Actually, uri mapping is now only working on the category and sub categories, not the product pages.

You 'kept getting hacked' with ZC V1.5??
1.5 forces you to rename admin folder though...or did you give it a very weak name?

You say you reloaded it, do you mean your admin folder?

1. Did you reload the default admin folder? i.e. minus any mods that you had in your admin folder beforehand?
2. How did you 'reload' it? Did ALL files upload fully? One missing file or even a failed part file could cause this. So I'd compare what actually loaded to what you intended to upload for any missing or corrupt files.

This could also point towards missing files or poorly merged files (not that there are many to merge with this mod).
This mod has a configuration/test page within admin doesn't it to verify it's installed properly, what result do you get there?

Yep, as soon as I re install URI mapping, it gets rid of the wholesale module. All the uri part is fine and the uri check page is fine. I have tried to compare the files but am not too sure. What do I do?

Can you post a link to the wholesale mod you are using and which version if applicable, also which version of Ceon URI are you using? Finally please list which files within both mods that you have merged together.

Hi. A few clicks later and i have some answers for you...

the mod you are trying to use is NOT compatible with ZC 1.5... Yet, as someone in the support thread http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.php?35450-DUAL-Pricing-v2/page106 is trying to make a ZC 1.5 version

So the way I see it, you have choices,

1. wait and HOPE that the 1.5 version gets created and works
2. Pay a developer to create it for you (and merge the files with ceon if you dont manage to yourself)
3. this option depends how far along your store is, are you still building it or is it an active trading store? Well option 3 is to revert back to using ZC 1.3.9H (some will disagree but it simply depends how much you need the dual price mod, that's your call and no one elses) until all the mods that you do want to use are ZC 1.5 ready.

Hi, I noticed that however tried it just to check and it worked fine so i have now been using it for quite a while. Do you think that if I down grade to a 1.3 level for ceon uri mapping that it might work then? So at least they might be more chance of them working together?

Ceon mod works perfectly and is written for 1.5 & 1.3.9, it's dual pricing that's causing you the issue I suspect.
Do you have a test site, live hosting or on local PC?

Are you 100% sure that Dual Pricing mod works in ZC 1.5? The thread I linked to in my above post doesn't support your theory of it working.
Or, and please excuse me asking, but are you defiantly using ZC 1.5?

My site is craftjam.co.uk I installed wholesale and it worked. I then installed hidden wholesale to make sure that you needed a special login to see wholesale pricing. Both have been working well untill uri mapping was added. As far as I know I am using zencart 150!

Ah, hidden wholesale, that's a third mod...anymore installed?
The top right corner of your admin area will state which version of ZC you are running.

yep v1.5.0 Erm as for mods I think it is uri mapping, dual pricing, hidden wholesale and i think there was one I added to make things allign in a grid. I think all the other changes I made were additions to code.

That's cool, nothing too drastic.
Now, do you have a local (wamp/xampp) version of your store on which to perform mod testing?
