That's actually what tipped me off. The version number did not change. And shouldn't config.so.php delete after it runs?

If the only difference between 4.0.2 and 4.0.10 are the files, then there may is no need to identify the cause. It's clearly an odd-ball something and while it would be nice to know, it's not affecting the functionality.

There was no "new" functionality added.. Therefore no database changes.. You can do a file comparison to see the differences for yourself..

I have a question about the Super Orders add-on: My manager would like a purchase order option available on his new website (1.5.3), but only available to customers that have an account. So the Purchase order option is hidden for people that don't have an account.

I am just wondering if this is achievable in Super orders 4.0.9? I have read the Super Orders Readme pages, but it didn't answer this question :)

Super Orders won't do that, but this plugin will:

The Manager definitely needs control over editing orders. :)

SO doesn't edit orders.. just enhances the normal order management process by adding some additional features.. SO's P.O. module is a simple OPTIONAL payment module that comes with SO... It doesn't collect the P.O. number, it assumes this will be entered by store admin after the order has been placed, and provides a means to do just that.. Suggest downloading and testing to to see if it meets your needs..

You are welcome.. yes do let us know.. The P.O. module is basic, but will gt the job done.. Super Orders is configured to work well with it..

I have tested Purchase order and Optional payment and yes it works. :cool:

If anyone ever reads this in the future wanting to do the same thing, when prompted to do so, don't include the _api suffix.

Where are you being prompted for his?? In all the many years of using and maintaining Super Orders, this is not something I believe I've ever seen..

This was mentioned in the readme for the change to the includes/classes/payment.php. The example given is braintree_api, but purchaseorder isn't an _api.

Maybe I'm just nitpicking, but whats common sense to some, isn't to everyone.

OP is referring to the Optional Payment plugin and not SO.

Oh yes of course. Sorry I was referring to the Optional Purchase Module, not Super orders. My note was really for the benefit of anyone incorporating both modules together as I had done.

Thank you for clarifying that your previous tip regarding "_api suffix" does not apply to Super Orders, but another module..

The readme for Optional Purchase Module says

Change "braintree_api" to the name of the payment module you want to be optional.

I guess I don't see any additional opportunities for clarification. Yes, Purchase Order does not end with "_api." It also doesn't begin with "braintree."

Hello. Since 1.5.4 zen cart is out, i have tried to install the 4.0.9 on it, and some things didnt work, such i am having orders.php showing totals as 0, while the invoice showing everything correct. Is there any update coming soon that is written for 1.5.4. We really need it. thanks.

Paid obligations come WAY ahead of free module updates.. So when I have time to submit the updated version, I will do so.. In the meantime a BETA version is available on Github, and a link to it has been posted in this support thread.. There is NO OFFICIAL support for beta versions here (though folks have ignored this and continue to post support requests for BETA versions here). Just be aware that support issues related to BETA versions may not be answered here in a "timely" manner.. The Github issues mechanism is the BETTER way to report issues with BETA versions..

Not ignoring github support on this by no means, however they are more about reporting bugs. If my issue is a bug i will go report it. I get a blank page on /admin/orders.php and log shows PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function get_content_type() on a non-object in /admin/includes/classes/order.php on line 243 which is: $this->content_type = $_SESSION['cart']->get_content_type();

There is a new version being worked on. Remember, this is supported for free when the author has available time.

A general suggestion. In that situation, I would suggest tracking down the post history of that individual to see where they found the answer.

Research is the best way to find the answer. Perhaps starting a new thread may identify a related thread and your answer.
