Re: Bristol Lace Template Support Thread

Hi there

Can you help me please as i have installed this template on my zencart v1.5.1.

Some how i am getting this issue and not reallly sure how to solve the problem.

Attachment 12313

If you have a look at the picture the pictures in the slider do not have the same length as the main part of the body. This also applies to the bottom part of the site where that too is short.

Can you guide me to what file i need to go to, to change the slider image size ???

Thank you

rikartalex:

Hi Anne

My product attribute images are not lining up in rows. For example:
http://www.valentinewigs.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=39_128&products_id=2213

Is there something in the stylesheet that I need to change?

Regards

Richard

Remove the includes/templates/bristol_lace/templates/tpl_modules_attributes.php

Thanks,

Anne

Re: Bristol Lace Template Support Thread

Hello, I even don't know how to define my problem. Before a few days I instaled CAPTCHA. However I didn't noticed anything wrong then. But today when I enter the site it looks very strange with huge font's size. When I change the view to 67% from the browser, the fonts look like before, but the entire template gets narrow of course. CSS is not changed and I don't want to change it, because this will make a full mess. Where is my mistake and how do I restore the previous view, which was as default template settings? The site is https://fairyland-embroidery-designs.com/ Thanks a lot!!!

I would recommend restoring your back up from before you make the changes ;)

Re: Bristol Lace Template Support Thread

Hi,

I love this template and am using it for my site: www.earthlybody.com/shop/.

I have one question- on the index page, the template is set up to switch between new, featured, and special. However, I want just the new products to remain static on the page, instead of having all three ( i have no need for featured and special). Is there a way to turn off this feature?

Thanks

I am happy that you love the template and are using it for your site. You can un-install the tabbed home page modules module which is creating the tabs.

Thanks,

Anne

how would I do that? Is that in the admin control panel or do I have to delete a file?

Thanks!

You can download the module from the plugins section to get a list of all of the files used in the module.

Thanks,

Anne

Re: Bristol Lace Template Support Thread

I have installed this template and all was ok.
Today I have altered a few things and the checkout page no longer displays.
I have looked under the debugging log and get the following

[11-Sep-2013 13:55:33 Europe/London] PHP Deprecated: Function ereg() is deprecated in /home/candlewithcare/public_html/includes/classes/db/mysql/query_factory.php on line 139

this repeats over and over.

If I refer back to my old template all is displaying ok.

Any idedas ?

Whenever you install a new template, you need to copy any files in the old override directory to the new override directory. My guess is that you have some module installed on your old template that you do not have installed on the new template.

Anne

Re: Bristol Lace Template Support Thread

That was my first thought but yesterday all was ok and working fine.
I have been tinkering with the stylesheet today and the header.php file from includes/language/english/bristol_lace
I have changed them back but still have same issue

I have given you my best guess. You can also just restore your back up from before you installed the template and then reinstall it.

Thanks,

Anne

Re: Bristol Lace Template Support Thread

All sorted now thanks.
Very carefully went over again and found I needed to merge a php file that had been altered previously
