Wonder if someone can help. I'm using Zen 1.5.3 with Sheffield Blue Responsive Template installed.

I've been checking some of the install files using WinMerge to make sure I don't overwrite anything already installed but I'm struggling with the following as there are so many differences:-

Is someone able to assist as to what I need to add to the file to ensure this Plugin works ok?

The /includes/templates/Your_Template/common/tpl_header.php

My current tpl_header.php is as follows:-

Your tpl_header and all of the tpl_header.php files I have compared it to indicate it is not from 1.53 or 1.51. Upload the correct original 1.53 tpl_header file, then merge in the new Twitch code.

The tpl_header file is from the Responsive Sheffield Blue template package. The only changes I have made to that original file is on lines 44-53 where i've put code to display time/date on the site.

I am currently working through the other files in your add-on package to see if there are any other major changes.

The /Your_Template/CSS/stylesheet.css file is completely different as well - I might have to rethink plans to install the add-on which is a pity because we supply parts to Main Dealers at a Trade Price as well as parts to the general public and this add-on would have allowed the dealers to buy direct via the website rather than via email or telephone at the discounted prices.

Let me state this clearly, install Twitch Wholesale first, ensure it has been uploaded and integrated properly, THEN install your template files. Twitch Wholesale does work properly when installed in 1.51 and 1.53 when you use the appropriate versions.

You will then be able to see clearly where to merge in the other templates you wish to install. Again it looks like your fileset is not 1.53 or you have overwritten the files instead of merging them.

On every other customer test account we try to create, nothing works except the categories menu. It still uses the default home page, prices, shows specials, etc. I've checked that the CatGroup ID is correct multiple times, and even reentered it. Plus the categories menu works - just nothing else.

This would require some custom coding which has been added to Twitch current project list.

CatGroup ID is not related to the Wholesale ID. You're describing Twitch Restrict settings and Twitch Wholesale settings as one.

So my guess is that You've got Twitch Wholesale working and perhaps Twitch Restrict but you haven't setup the group ID's correctly.

Brilliant - yes, makes sense. Our customer page in admin only has CatGroup ID - wholesale isn't there separately. I believe the admin files were overwritten instead of merged. We set the original one up following your instructions so we it was assigned to wholesale before they were overwritten.

Finally have my cart all up to date with all additional mods and starting with this mod.
Only a few of my products are classified as wholesale priced, but all items are priced in the existing default retail field(existing cart install updated with this mod).
When I log in as a Wholesale customer and view non wholesale items, they have no price.
Will I have to manually go back and populate the Wholesale price field for all items, or is there a way that even for wholesale customers on those items they see retail pricing?
I'm thinking I might be able to copy database record fields to accomplish this and for attributes pricing as well if so?

Lets clarify some things here...

After installing Twitch Wholesale, you will have:
New - Base Price
New - Wholesale Price
Existing - Product Price
Existing/Automatic - Product Gross
New - List Price

Each of the new fields require manual entry, just as the product price required manual entry when creating a product. There is no auto populate pricing code to ensure the data remains 'clean'

• This is a result of the wholesale filter working correctly. Wholesale customers can ONLY see wholesale prices. YOU can enter in the retail price AS the wholesale price for these products.

***- a while back I wrote a 'bridge' code for the live template that said: if the wholesale price is $0.00, display the retail price/list price instead.

• yes, this is an effective way to manually copy the fields.
• you can write an SQL statement that runs once and populates everything for you in one click.
• it simply needs to locate the table + data column (wholesale price), decide if the value is $0.00, then copy the value in the second data column (products price/retail price) and move on to the end of the table.
• this is the best solution, keeps the code clean, the db clean and will process hundreds of products in a few seconds.

For those of you reading these posts, I did recommendation #3 and it was a BREEZE. Very easy to repopulate fields with just 2 SQL statements. I DID have to reprice 80 of 700 items (for known reasons), but its WAY better than repricing all 700!

This is being coded for ZC v1.54 roll out as I type this message... well after I finish typing - I'll get back to it!

Twitch Wholesale with Wholesale Attributes 16a for ZC v1.54 is complete.

Check the forum *plugins *or my website for your copy.

What's New:

• Works with ZC default modules SaleMaker, Specials, Discount Coupons, Group Pricing.
  • Product Attribute Controller Button now drills down to actual product path.
  • Files included are now based on a stock 'vanilla' Zen Cart v1.54 install
• Instructions have been organized, line numbers updated for ZC v1.54

I have downloaded the plugin and do not see a specific set of instructions. I also read a little on the form here and it sounds like some files need to be merged rather than just copied over to replace? Any detailed instructions out there? I am not a zen cart guru and a list of steps with some basic notes would be awesome.

Ok I was trigger happy on the question. I saw the .txt file and opened it in notepad which made it look almost like code. I then opened it in another editor and I see it is actually instructions! Thanks

Another question though. What are all the pricing levels?
Wholesale I assume is the cost you would sell an item to your wholesale customers like a retailer that will resell your item.
Price Net I assume is the retail price and that which will be shown on the store page to retail customers when they purchase from my store.
Price Gross includes taxes? How does it know that when different states have different rates?

The prices I do not get are Base and List?
List price be greater than retail? Um why? And is the list price used on my site anywhere? It confuses me.
Base price is?? I assume the cost I pay for the good myself? Some lower price I want people to see? or? and where is that used on the site.

Any enlightenment would be appreciated
