Re: Winchester Responsive

Dear Anne

I have discovered an error in the checkout process step 4 - if a customer enters credit card details (Paypal Payment Pro) inn Step 3, then step 4 does not jump to the top of the page as the others steps do it stays at the same position that step 3 was - this makes a customer believe that nothing has happened, when indeed they need to scroll up to the top of the page.

Is this something that can be fixed easily please?

Thanks

Cliff

Re: Winchester Responsive

Can you suggest the best way to get the "HOME" button to the top of the pages in the template? I had two customers complain today that they find it difficult to scroll to the bottom of every page just to press the home button... :)

If you want to add it to the header menu, edit the includes/templates/winchester_responsive/templates/tpl_modules_mobile_categories_tabs.php

Thanks,

Anne

Process:

  1. Add an item to the cart
  2. Create an account
  3. Start the check-out process
  4. In Step 3 choose a credit card number etc.. (fake is fine)
  5. When it goes to step 4, the page does not jump to the top of the page as thee others do.

I don't see this in the demo:

Anne

I beklieve I did make it clear that its when a user chooses to pay by credit card (i.e. PAYPAL PRO) - your demo site does not have that option - the others work fine, its just PAYPAL Pro

Re: Winchester Responsive

Hi Anne,

I'm updating a friends website to use this template. The problem we are having is that on the product page on the mobile, the sideboxes are showing. How can I disable this please?

aprilrosehairclips.com is the website.

Did you read the readme.html file? Try admin--tools--layoutboxes controller turn the sideboxes off at min-width

Thanks,

Anne

Re: Winchester Responsive

Yes I read the Read Me. The only thing it shows is how to reset the sideboxes. There is no option within admin--tools--layoutboxes controller to switch off the sideboxes at a minimum width that I can see. Its showing the drop down menu for categories and also the full categories and sideboxes the same as a desktop would - just all in one column.

Did you upload the admin files for the template package?

Re: Winchester Responsive

Yes it has all been uploaded correctly. I've checked it a few times although it is past midnight in AUS so I could be a little screwy by now..

EDIT! layout_controller.php was not overwritten when uploaded.. Reuploaded and NOW I see the "Show Box @ Min-Width"

Re: Winchester Responsive

Excellent template. Great Job!!

Just have a quick question. I have searched around for an answer but have been unable to locate any information. Is there a way to display the left and or right column on the main page. I would like to display my categories (as I have lots of them) on the left side the same as when browsing other pages of my site.

Thanks

You can edit the includes/templates/winchester_responsive/common/tpl_main_page.php file and remove the code that turns off the left and right hand column on the home page.

Thanks,

Anne

Re: Winchester Responsive

Dear Anne

Have you perhaps already updated/changed the "hidden categories" plug-in (http://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=254) to work with Winchester Responsive? It does some core replacements and I notice that the WR template has core replacements for the same files so I can't install the plug in out of the box I guess...

Thanks

Cliff

Any stable, correctly installed plugin will work with the template package. If the plugin has the same files as the template, you need to merge them.

Thanks,

Anne
