Westminster New

This may have been posted before, and if it has, I would appreciate being directed to the solution post, but in Westminster New, the products take a long time to load. I know this because when I switch to the default template, the products load normally, but in Westminster New, the products can take up to 90 seconds or more to load. Why is this?

This should not be a problem with the template package. You may have plugins that are not installed properly? If you post a link to your site and turn on the "Display The Page Parse Time" I can take a look.

This is not being caused by the template package. I would look to plugins you have installed. Also, you should look at the article in the tutorials section of this site about optimizing your site.

I hope I am in the right spot for this question, as I did not see a specific button for post new. But here goes.
I have the feature and special links in the bottom of my Westminster new template on my web site. But when the are clicked to go to a box wich ask some question, when you point to the one you want you don't get anything. This is what the code looks like html php?main_page=featured_products My site is ```html
www.stuffwholesale.com

Can you tell me how to have these link show the feature products in my site. The reason is that when I go on my cell phone I can not easily navigate to products as the whole header on the top does not show ( meaning categories etc.) 

I seem to have some problems please help me straighten this site out.

Whenever you have a blank page or a partial blank page you should check your logs folder for errors and correct them.

Is there a way for the carousel to display New Products instead of featured?

Also I went to edit the social media in footer and now I get the following...

You would have to do some custom programming to copy the slider functionality from the featured to new products.

You can either use html entities like > for < , etc. or edit the database directly in phpmyadmin

I have it started with <a href= but it displays as text http://azcomputing.co

So I edited in the database directly and it worked. Thank you

A fix for this was posted in both the:

Flexible Footer Menu Multilingual & Flexible Footer Columns Menu for 1.5.x Support threads.

Also, I do believe this issue was addressed in 1.5.5a also

Great template! Thank you for sharing this great work with us!
Few questions though I have searched this thread but didn't find my answers. Maybe I missed it. I'm sorry if that was already discussed.

1. How do I make images to open larger than the size they open now. They are uploaded at a resolution of 1200 x 800 px but when I click on a product image it opens at a smaller size (around half of that). I didn't find this setting in zen lightbox menu, or forum support thread. How do I make them open at full resolution, or at full percent of the screen or window height, for example? I thought this could be done through Image Handler 4, so I have installed it but that didn't give me the options I needed. Although it gave me some other good stuff.

2. I also have problems with font awesome in flexible footer menu. After I have changed nothing but the links to facebook and twitter to point to our shop pages, they stopped showing like icons and instead they appeared just text, like this:

I have seen that this was discussed earlier, but the solution used was no luck for me. What do I have to check in order to still use font awesome in the footer? In other places it still displays correctly as in header (login, shopping cart, ...)

What is lacking in this template that does not allow straight entry to be processed correctly
Or what is it that is breaking the functionality?

A full fix should be in order and not these hokey work arounds

I am trying to change the color of the categories links box from grey current to something else. I tried in stylesheet.css at line 84 which the chrome extension suggested me but it doesnt change so. In the extension preview, it does change.

Can someone tell me what am I missing?

I'm trying to go through the steps of installing this template, and I'm unable to rename the YOUR_ADMIN_FOLDER folder. When I right click on it, I don't even get the option of renaming the folder. Any other suggestions for tackling this?
