picaflor-azul:

You are correct. Try the attached file instead.

Thanks,

Hi, I have fixed this menu alignment issue. It was in my stylesheet and in slim menu -a padding adjustment fixed it.

I am happy that you figured it out!

Thanks,

Anne

Re: Westminster New

I am getting an installation error with this template. I am running ZC v1.5.5a and just installed Wesminster v1.3. First the layout_controller.php was showing an error on the page. So I re-uploaded the layout_controller.php from the original installation and it showed up normally. Then I deleted and re-uploaded the layout_controller.php from this template package. This time the layout_controller.php does show. But on the layout boxes controller page I see this:

Boxes Path: /myPathl/demo/includes/modules/ ...

WARNING: An Error occurred, please refresh the page and try again.

This time I can see the layout_controller page but no boxes show and it has an error. On the front end where the footer goes I also see this error:

WARNING: An Error occurred, please refresh the page and try again.

Not sure but I think the admin>layout_controller.php and admin>flexible_footer_menu.php do not seem to be showing properly for some reason. Any suggestions?

Re: Westminster New

Found the problem. I tried to rename this template before installing. Instead I left template name be, and re-installed normally and now everything if fine.

Re: Westminster New

Iam getting a JSON syntax error on shopping cart page here: http://www.peoyearbooks.com/demo/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=6 I stated a full thread pertaining to this error right here: https://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.php?220970-JSON-syntax-error-on-shopping-cart-page&p=1318358#post1318358 and it was recommended to me that this was a templating error.

Here is the last post that referred me to this template thread: ```html
you are using a template meant for v1.5.4 not v1.5.5 or v.1.5.5a

you are getting a "method error" because the the function setNoscriptCookie existed in v1.5.4 in includes/classes/ajax/zcAjaxPayment.php and has since been removed from v1.5.5a.

i would encourage you to post in that template support forum, and encourage the template author to keep her templates up-to-date with the latest ZC versions.

I downloaded the wesminster_new v1.3 which seems to be the latest version. and installed it new on my v1.5.5a cart. Any ideas as to how to get rid of this JSON error. This is the only thing holding me up from going live. I have no idea as to what code to modify to stop this JSON error from showing on the shopping cart page (when adding items to cart, when checking shipping, and when going from cart to checkout) the JSON error pops up.

Re: Westminster New

I paid someone to fix this error. The developer did not fix the template itself he added code to another page, that worked for me. I do not know the fix, but if someone has the same issue I can send you to the guy I paid, just PM me. He was reasonable and did the job quickly.

Re: Westminster New

I'm sure this has been asked and answered but I couldn't find it.
I have many customizable items with many attributes/options.
The issue is that the Product Description for each item can be lengthy
and then the attributes/option display way down on the page leaving
a large white space to the left. Has anyone created a work around for this?
Or changed the template to have the selections below the Product
description instead of to the right?

Here is a link to one of my items:
http://thesweetestmemories.com/z/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3_39&products_id=560

Thanks in advance!

Re: Westminster New

Have you made customizations for the product description display?

I ask because the product description is usually automatically displayed in the "DETAILS" tab below the attribute listing and your example page has the product description in 2 places.... If you remove the description that is not in the DETAILS tab, the attributes will move up.

Did you try removing the includes/templates/westminster_new/jscript/jscript_framework.js file?

Thanks,

This is not the default layout of the page in the template package. It looks like you have broken the layout by adding code for the product description. The product description code is already in the first tab on the page.

Thanks,

Anne

Yes, this is 100% correct ;)

Re: Westminster New

I just submitted an update to the template package that includes the changes outlined by rbarbour here to make the template compatible with 1.5.5x:

https://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.php?219801-Making-v154-DIY-Picaflor-Azul-templates-work-with-v1-5-5&p=1308961#post1308961

Thank you so much Raymond (rbarbour) for the help with the upgrade

I made a few CSS changes but did not do a lot of bug fixing in this update.

Thanks,

Anne

Hello Anne, please tell me why my site is shown so on tablet, but only tablet, on mobilephone is ok.

The template uses php mobile detect to serve up the optimized layout based on device. If you want to work on the layout from a browser, use chrome and the web developer tools and don't forget to refresh the page after you have selected the device you want to view.

Thanks,

Anne

I had put the ico into the main directory it shows up if I type https://www.stuffwholesale.com/favicon.ico in a browser but it does not show in the cart header. Where should I put the ico into?

It is the same as any web site. If you look at the FAQ's section here you will find a tutorial about how to add your favicon.

Thanks,

Anne

Re: Westminster New

I just wanted to document this in case someone else runs into it. I've been working on a clients site and mysteriously the hometop image supplied with the template disappeared from firefox only. The html generated contained only

<div id="home-top">

<div id="top-banner">

</div>

In all other browsers it correctly displayed the image. What happened was I accidentally disabled showssl in the banner manager for that banner. As a result firefox was blocking parts of the page that were not secure. This site is set to display all pages using https.

Anyway, that was a head scratcher for a while so I thought I'd save someone else the confusion.
