Hi all,
A question about 1.5.4 and Sheffield Blue v2.0:
I turned the prices off so now the "Buy" buttons turned to "contact" button.
When a potential customer is in a specific product page, he can press on the "contact" button
and the link turns him to the regular "Contact us" form.
What I need is to add automatically the model number of the page he was linked from so I could
get it when I receive the email.
But as zeners, do not suggest to make a specific contact page for each model.... :wink:

Consider the "Ask A Product Question" plugin. (I think that's its name. I've never used it, but I've heard people mention using it.)

Hi. Made some research about "ask a question" plugin but it seems that this plugin will add a link of "ask a question"
on the product page and the problem is that I already have another link of "contact us" button on the product page (because my shop is without prices so insetad of "buy now" button I have "contact us" button).
Any ideas except taking the class of "learning advanced high level of PHP"...? :smartass:

Another issue with Sheffield Blue - On the main page area that has the 3 tabs for "Newest" "Featured" and "Specials". The "Newest" has products under the tab. Looks good. Then I click "Featured" which has no products - fine. But when I click back to "Newest" all the products are gone.

I added products to the "Featured" and "Specials" section. Everything looks good and I can move back and forth between the products. All good

But if I remove "Featured" products and have "specials" products then it breaks again. No products will display once you start clicking off of the "Newest" tab within those 3 sections.

Anybody know how to fix this?

UPS shipping quotes do not show in shipping estimator. Using Zencart 1.5.5a and UPSXML addon. I get quotes from Canada Post and FedEx, but not UPS.

Sorry, without the UPSXML enabled I get quotes from Canada Post and FedEx, but when I enable UPSXML the shipping estimator is blank.

Hi, thank you for this awesome template. I've been working on upgrading from 1.2 to 1.5 and adding this template. Its been fun and a great learning experience. I cant seem to get the mobile site to load properly however... the tables are misaligned and jumbled. Is there a way just to deactivate the mobile version or if anyone can point me to where I've messed up the mobile site?

How do you fix the top menu items?

I updated this file: /includes/languages/english/extra_definitions/responsive_sheffield_blue/responsive_sheffield_blue_defines.php

I changed the
define('TEXT_ABOUT_US'
define('TEXT_SHIPPING_INFO'
define('TEXT_CONFIDENCE'
define('PAYMENT_ICON'

but none of my changes will apply to the menu. I also want to remove shop and brand because they are on the side menu.
What am I missing?

To put this to bed (again) and seeing as this is/was a javascript issue, searching this forum on javascript led to this post where a solution was provided at least for one area that was to be applied to other areas as discussed further in the thread.

I got the first part changed but I don't understand the second part. Restore the three files from what and where? Also changed Section ID - where in the code and changed to what values?

Restored the next three files to the original template files from RSB v2.0 :
includes\templates\responsive_sheffield_blue\templates\tpl_modules_specials_default.php
includes\templates\responsive_sheffield_blue\templates\tpl_modules_featured_products.php
includes\templates\responsive_sheffield_blue\templates\tpl_modules_whats_new.php
(However, I changed the section id's to be consistent with tpl_index_default.php)
