lat9:

Web search engines are your friend; did you try the web-search I suggested above? IIRC, at least one had some javascript/css that would do that.

yes. what @lat9 said makes perfect sense.

Re: Responsive Classic (built in to Zen Cart v1.5.5) [Support Thread]

ok have found a possible css solution and want to run it past you guys

the issue i am having in implementing it is knowing the exact tags required for that specific button/field

.upload-form .elementor-field-type-upload input[type="file"]::before{
    content: 'Browse files';
    background-color: grey;
    padding: 10px 15px;
    border-radius: 20px;
    color: white;
    font-size: 14px;
    line-height: 3em !important;
    font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif;
    font-weight: 600;
}

.upload-form .elementor-field-type-upload input[type="file"]::after{
    content: 'You have not chosen any files yet';
    font-size: 14px !important;
    padding-left: 10px;
}

.upload-form .elementor-field-type-upload input[type="file"]{
    font-size: 0px;
}

.upload-form .elementor-field-type-upload input[type="file"]::file-selector-button{
    display: none;
}

Re: Responsive Classic (built in to Zen Cart v1.5.5) [Support Thread]

hoping this is the correct place to post this.

wrt to the this box, it appears to be in two halves, which don't stay aligned when zooming in and out

<div id="pinfo-right" class="group grids">

stylesheet.css line 361

#pinfo-right {

float: right;

width: 55%;

padding: 20px 0 0 0;

}

<div id="cart-box" class="grids productGeneral add-to-cart-Y">

stylesheet.css line 379

#cart-box {

padding: 1em;

float: right;

width: 52.5%;

}

so wondering do I need this inside another container and float that right, or some other css control?

Re: Responsive Classic (built in to Zen Cart v1.5.5) [Support Thread]

Also want to know about changing labels from state to county managed this on the tempte store front but not in admin (so technically the admin thing is a question in the wrong place?

But on the store front if i select state drop down in admin the alignment goes out for input field not so sur why and how that would be resolveble at the minute.

see attached images

Re: Responsive Classic (built in to Zen Cart v1.5.5) [Support Thread]

I thought the alignment problem was corrected in ZC v2.2.2... By memory, the main cause for this was some &nbsp; characters in the code of tpl_modules_create_account.php file. Just remove them.

ZC v2.2.2 PHP 8.4+ MySQL 8.4+

Re: Responsive Classic (built in to Zen Cart v1.5.5) [Support Thread]

okay think for now I am stuck with a few issues, the product info alignment as you zoom in and out on the screen.

the header and footer hanging over the main content.

but think I have rounded off the edges and got everything else something like. would appreciate some guidance on the issues have with the template, along with maybe replacing the login and home and contact us with icons instead.

I can bundle the files I have for the templates if that makes it easier for someone to help with the nits I am struggling with, learned a little I think on css, but not sure I understand it.

Also tried the dashboard mode, but erros on thi so had to revert back, may give that anither go later today but need some sleep.

Re: Responsive Classic (built in to Zen Cart v1.5.5) [Support Thread]

I think I have resolved the box being curved for almost everything but there are so many to check and not immediately obvious how many they are.

  1. the alignment of these two halves varies considerably.
  2. so would the top and bottom halves to line up and sync in terms of zooming in oi out keeps them aligned, not as bother about size but at some point I may wish to make them smaller.

Okay it appears to be a mozilla firefox browser issue, however it only appears to be an issue for a few very specific parts even on the latest versions of the firefox browser.

its okay in chrome and edge as far as I can tell, so thats something.

miffed as firefox browser versions I have should support border-radius and not require -moz-border-radius (which doesn't appear to work either)

at least its narrowed down and I can say these parts are slightly different to the rest of site, so just need to work out how to get round this issue on mozilla for those very specific cases.......

(https://www.zen-cart.com/post-attachments/17147?disposition=inline)

put this at the very bottom of the stylesheet

path: shop/includes/templates/responsive_mine/css/stylesheet.css

span.cssButton.normal_button.button.button_write_review, .button_write_review {clear:both;}

#cart-box {width:50%;clear:right;padding-left:0; padding-right:0;}

#pinfo-right {width:50%}

The reason your having issue aligning this up is because the template has percentages as a width and padding. This can cause the issue you are experiencing
