Thats something that was inherited with the mod taken from here.

I will try and understand what the changes do, as solutoons are great but understanding is better.

I have the rounded edges in mozilla I cant get sorted either but save that for another day as its 2am in the Uk and I have other things to do and need some sleep first.

when shrinking screen sizes the display isnt great seem to have no access to much in terms of options.

but more importantly the login bar floats on the smaller screen sizes and that means the white text gets camouflaged into various parts of the screen.

so guess I need a background for the floating bar or a menu button at the top or something?

Madway,

The template you are using is a little difficult if your not familiar with css. It also has a lot of legacy code.

My opinion I think you would be better of with the more up to date template suggestions below. These templates are mostly up to date and should be a little easier in making changes.

I appreciate what your saying, but this is becoming very hard work and there is nothing to say the other solutions will help any more or any less.

just how easy is it to achieve something like i have now with one of the other options.

I have lots to do and at the moment I am think its easier to go down the route I was before which was manually building things.

adding the products is going to be slow, but if many things dont work and I have to fix them first its a toss up as to what ends up being quicker.

that said I can get the quickest fix in place and then look at more longer term solutions.

the site i have now is php5.3 which i a tad ancient, so bring it up to php 8.4 plus, but i am not a programming or designer, but I can learn, i did a bank transfer module and got that working before opting to go for the pre made option with more options. It took less time looking at the moneyorder and converting it to a bank transfer one than any of the ccs work done.

"its difficult" "legacy code" maybe accurate.

I have looked at the other mods suggested already but not in any detail

I dont think there is a right or wrong answer. If you feel comfortable making the changes than go for it. That's the best way to learn. Customizing css can sometimes be very time consuming so pick and choose your battles. We are here to help i just wanted to mention alternative solutions.

One last thing if you are in the process of building a new site make sure you update your php and use the most recent zencart files. That alone will helo you get ahead of the game.

okay think for now I am stuck with a few issues, the product info alignment as you zoom in and out on the screen.

the header and footer hanging over the main content.

but think I have rounded off the edges and got everything else something like. would appreciate some guidance on the issues have with the template, along with maybe replacing the login and home and contact us with icons instead.

I can bundle the files I have for the templates if that makes it easier for someone to help with the nits I am struggling with, learned a little I think on css, but not sure I understand it.

Also tried the dashboard mode, but erros on thi so had to revert back, may give that anither go later today but need some sleep.

Are there still section of Zen Cart using tables.
