Why is Google not listing my products?

The concepts are solid, even if the sales page for the book is overly splashy (yes, I understand the skepticism in your comment, and you can skip all the upsells that are offered, unless you prefer the audiobook format).

While his previous 2 books are more geared around sites that sell a single product/service (vs having a store like Zen Cart that shows a "catalog of products"), Traffic Secrets is all about making sure you understand your ideal customer and positioning yourself in a way that increases visibility, increases your authority and also converts to sales. That can be applied to "catalog" stores equally. And not be infomercial-y.

If nothing else, for the $10 plus time on your part to do the exercises discussed, you will know your customer and market better and have numerous strategies for making yourself more visible and authoritative, which will result in more traffic to your site, resulting in more sales.

It's essentially Business Development 201 combined with Marketing 103, all in one. Stuff most business owners never do, or take shortcuts with.

Okay so I started a fresh site after finding out amongst other things that the site was hacked through a WP folder that I had experimented with.
However saying this, it is not the primary reason for the google indexing issue.

So fresh start start and I have only added sitemapXML plugin and EP4.

Here is a snapshot of my google search console as of 6th October

and still 0 URL's discovered for my sitemap

It has been zero since I first submitted it last year

Google is however reading my pages but just not indexing them

Any idea's why this is happening ?

This may be at total WAG but, I've seen it happen twice.

When I use unique text from your site and add it to a Google search with Zen Cart added to the end, it comes back as "Did not match any documents."

My WAG is that either your site or your server has a block. https://moz.com/blog/12-ways-to-keep-your-content-hidden-from-the-search-engines has some possibilities to look at. I am assuming again, but I think you can eliminate item 12. :P

It does seem odd that your site appears to be fully listed in Bing (https://www.bing.com/search?q=site%3Ahttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.gotitall.co.za&go=Search&qs=ds&form=QBRE) but not in Google. My two cents worth,

• After the recent changes you've made, Google might just need more time
• The format of the sitemaps are fine and are readable by Google (tested using Rich Results Test)
• You might need to correct the HTML errors on your site, for example the majority of images on the home page have spaces in the image path. (https://validator.w3.org/nu/?doc=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.gotitall.co.za%2F)
• Are there any security/manual actions reported in Search Console
• Are the redirect errors shown in your attachments still current

Might want to dig down into what pages are being "ignored" because of a noindex factor. It appears that is a large number.

Also, to verify, when setting up this google webmaster account to try to track this site, has the site been claimed for example either by uploading a googlexxxxx.html file (do not post the file name) or by loading code into the page content?

Another thing/factor is whether the repopulation of product and categories following the rebuild set the products_id and categories_id to what google may have previously had or does it appear to google that everything has moved so much in such a short time, possibly frequently to "raise" doubt in the accuracy of the identified content? (e.g. Significant change frequently could be an indicator of a concern for future locatability of the same item at the same address... )

I am so lost with all of this and just not understanding why this has happened in the first place.

It occurred after one of the plugins I installed. I haven't changed any core code as I wouldn't even know how.
I changed small things like logo and editable pages via admin.

I reinstalled fresh Zen and within hours google rename the heading in its search to Zencart instead of my store name like Gtitall so it shows that google is reading the site and indexing very fast but for some unknown reason just won't list/index my URL's. At most it gives 4 or 7 listings only.
